Who is our biggest, most shredded member at Meso?

It takes some "adjusting" but its doable . Having a long list of Keto-friendly foods helps to fight the food boredom . And done right , you"ll be ripped like never before....:D
Yeah going from 400 to 40 will definitely takes some “adjusting” I’ve been thinking about trying it out over the summer. Not so much for weight loss but more so in hopes of feeling more energetic and basically just trying something different. Being a vegetarian would make it even more interesting.

This link has a lot of helpful easy to understand information on Keto diets.

@size26s
I understand your concerns about being diabetic and still living the liftstyle (purposely misspelled).

And I know you are probably not wanting to hear any rah-rahs right about now.

That said, the most important aspect of controlling diabetes and living a "normal life" is self control and strict adherence to proper dieting specifically designed for controlling blood sugar. And the good news is - as any of us who has observed you here at Meso over the years can attest - YOU HAVE DISPLAYED PHENOMENAL LEVELS OF DEDICATION!!!

So now you just need to dedicate yourself to controlling your blood sugar, in addition to your training and supplementation. Sure, you'll have to make adjustments, but you already do that with your training and supplements anyways.

Again, I know you probably don't want my rah-rah talk, but dammit, your condition can be treated! And even reversed!!!

I live within 15 minutes of three large hospitals, FULL OF PEOPLE with cancers and debilitating conditions who would give ANYTHING to have an ailment that could be treated through diet. Some of these folks I am speaking of will never leave the hospital alive. Some of them are being given days or weeks to live. They have little hope of ever improving.

But you, my good man, sure as hell do! You have already made good progress in a short amount of time. And it will get even better.

You got this, buddy. Keep us posted, you got a lot of Meso bros here for ya.

Thank you. That means a lot. There are some great guys on here. I’ve learned a lot in my time being on here. It’s the only board I use and trust. I never knew nothing about steroids until I came here. I’ve had people give me advice on cycles, competitions, diet and even real life stuff.

After I got high sugar @fodsod gave so much advice and taught me about sugar levels and told me stuff I had no idea about and he wasn’t short on info. This man wrote me a few long emails and offered to help in anyway he could. Plus @rutman has always had my back when it’s come to questions I wanted to know.

The diet had been an adjustment but my numbers are dropping by the day. I just pulled a 108 after all my meals
Today. I was around 200 blood sugar levels about 6 weeks ago. And been on my metformin
Now 4 weeks almost. I’ve just lowered my carbs and changed my diet. I still have some bad days when I crave a pizza but I’m starting to feel really better especially mentality. For a week or two I was in funkkkk I felt I was shrinking. I know it’s the bodybuilder in all of us but it was messing with me bad. But I feel much better now.

Thank you again everyone for the thoughts and nice words and help

Good to hear you’re finding your way through this man and making great progress.

I knew once the dust settled and you processed the info your bodybuilding side would take over and you’d start finding ways to work through it.

Hell man, that’s the advantage we have living the spartan lifestyle most can’t. We see ways to over come physical ailments that would crush most people.

I’m seriously glad to see you’re moving in the right direction. I can’t think of a better candidate for beating that shit back and recovering to normal. You’ve got this all day man.

About to pull the plug on this off season and see what’s underneath my fat ass... This was from this morning, weighed 265. Going to slowly lean out over the next 4 months and make a decision on whether to compete again this year or not. I’m actually leaning towards not right now and make another big push after the summer and take a look at either Masters Nationals or North Americans next year. I’ll be 43 so the clock is def ticking...

Just wanted to post since it put me in a good mood lol. So after 9 weeks of cruising and the diabetes stuff. About 12 days ago I decided to try something. I upped my test to 600 a week and npp 375 a week. Now take it I use to do 800-1000 test and 600 npp.
Longer story short I thought let me try a little blast 8 weeks low dosage and see how my
Blood sugar levels go. Well tonight I pulled a 98 after all my meals. Lowest I’ve had since I’ve been testing my sugar levels. Made me happy to see a number under 100. Leaning out but more cuts are coming in.
