Who is our biggest, most shredded member at Meso?

I’m 42, so I’ll take that as a compliment.

After not sleeping for 3 days in a row (I have bad insomnia) and partying a bit on Saturday night, I had a seizure a couple days later on Christmas Eve, went catatonic and fell on my stairs and broke my left wrist, and apparently my daughter came home fortunately since she wasn’t supposed to be there and found me on the floor and called 911 and the ambulance came out. I don’t remember any of this. I actually don’t remember anything after falling, but I guess I was trying to fight off the paramedics and kind of freaking out and I ended up in the hospital with acute kidney ffailure and liver failure and was in a coma on life support strapped to my bed for three days. That happened on a Monday, I woke up on Thursday and had no idea where I was, how long I had been there, or how I ended up there.

That’s the short, sweet summary.
Ouch, that was rough and you sure made a great comeback from that nasty accident and keep living each day like its the last you'd ever spend. Not to mention thanks to your daughter you are still alive and kicking. Give her a big hug on Father's Day...much respect!

42 is still a good age to be...so keep grinding!

I thought I’d post this here since a few of us compete in here. I’ve kinda mention something like this before but I saw it last week even more.

So a girl I know at my gym did he first show last weekend. Pretty much the biggest show in the state. She competed in figure. I know we all compete for different reasons and this and that but I think most of us here compete to win.

This girl has a coach. An ifbb pro at that. Not a huge well known pro but someone who does have a pro card. She was probably 12-16 weeks out the day of her show. Her Coach had here on t3, clen, winny, armidex and letro. She didn’t need to be on any drugs. She needed a good diet and good training. She still had a huge belly on here cellulite on her legs. Only reason I know this cause she wore the smallest clothes to the gym.

Now again. Maybe she’s ok stepping on stage like that but my problem is with the coach. You take this girl, drug her up. She pays you money, pays for a show and gets 16 out 16 in novice. I get this is a business but Me myself I couldn’t let someone go out there if they were my client. But I understand money talks but what bothers me is you are a coach. These people represent you and your team. How do you know care how it makes you look.

Yea she’s a grown woman and she can compete if she wanted but i feel her coach should of said you know we got all year to get ready for a show let’s keep working at it. And the drugs really throws me off. The girl has no idea how to train, doesn’t train hard. Why not work with her instead of just say hey here take these drugs.

Just my thought of the day not judging anyone and it’s a business but what about looking out for the people who you are working with me. I guess I was always lucky and had people who didn’t take advantage of me and could bounce questions off people in here or that I know who have competed

Saw this at the last show I went to as well. Not sure about the drug protocol but the girl wasn’t ready (IMO) to get on stage. Saw an Instagram post from the coach and how he had “talked her into doing the show”. Same coach tried to talk me into the same show. Telling me “You should just jump into the show, you’re lean enough already” knowing good and well that I wasn’t ready-at least I knew I wasn’t so it should have been just as much or more apparent to him. That’s a coach I won’t hire.

You did well keeping things right while you healed. The comeback should be strong. Good work bro.
Thanks man. I'm gonna test the waters this weekend and see how the chest is doing. I noticed with lat pulldowns the stretch was a little uncomfortable. So definitely staying vigilant!

Sitting at 251 tonight. I’m about 19 weeks out right now and going to start SLOWLY leaning out, with the goal to lose an average of 1lb a week, but mainly go by the mirror and progress pics, and hold on to all the muscle that I’ve gained this last year. Had my body fat checked a few weeks ago and I was 9.5%. Not too bad of a starting point.
