Daily Log to 2019 Show Season

I had been wondering who you look like, it just hit me! You like a juicy version (well a more juicy version) of that Canadian UFC fighter George St. Pierre! May have to start calling you GSP!
So that's why GSP retired.... to get his pro card. Makes sense.

Yo Mac, If I recall, you used to run short blast of tren..take a mini break.. followed by another short blast (ex: 1-4 tren, 5-8 off, 9-12 tren).. or am I thinking of someone else?

I wanted to know if you liked this kind of style and felt the full effects of the tren with how short the blasts were. If you didn't do this, then disregard lol

That was indeed me, first time trying it, courtesy of @Wunderpus suggestion. It was a couple weeks of tren. Off, a couple weeks of oral, off.

I liked it. I might carry the tren longer. I think orals do fine in 2 week, tren maybe could benefit from a bit longer of a stretch. But either way it seemed like a good, low dose method to keep the gains wheel turning deep in a cycle.

It seems like a good strategy to keep changing up the compound so the body can't get used to it and plateau.

I'm trying out EQ this summer, so I might do the mini blasts of tren throughout instead of running it straight through.

Really nice aesthetic build! Keep on grinding!

Training with a partner Weds/thurs so shuffled the schedule.

2. Pec-Deck - 3x12–15, 1xFailure at 8-10
3. Two lead in sets to a 315 double drop set (8x315, 8x225, 10x135)
4. HS Wide Press - 4x12-15 (short rest, pump)
5. Cable Flyes - 4x10-12

Arms Every Day
1. Machine Preacher Curl SS Bodyweight Dips - 6x15ea

Cardio was done fasted this AM - 30m on stairs.

May hold on of progress photos for a couple weeks. Shits getting INTERESTING fast, I’ll just say that.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Stop trying to make drugs get you lean. Eat like you should in your offseason so you hve cals to pull away, diet with intelligent drug choices and moderate doses, feel good and get shredded. Fuck this spending 12 weeks miserable with 700mg tren, a bunch of winny, and DNP.

The fact that people even consider using DNp to get lean instead of eating like a human is disturbing, doesn’t that make your spit turn yellow ??

How’s the arms everyday treating you ?

They haven’t fallen off yet, lol. It’s only been a couple days. So far, not carrying fatigue day to day. The key is limiting volume and load.

So no progressive overload on those I’m guessing just picking load by feel?
Yeah for the days I’m not only training arms it’s basically pump with a moderate to heavy load but not to failure. Jam blood in there.

On my arm specific day (which has an off day from arms before and after) I’m chasing heavy failure/overload on Atleast 2-3 sets per muscle group, probably 12-15 sets per group total.

unbelievable as always! Great progress and RIP to the whoevers gotta stand next to you on that stage. Hopefully their old ladies stay home!

I hear people talk about no training like a pussy during prep....but for me my recovery is very very limited.

Tren Ace already prevents me from sleeping longer than 2-3 hours at a time, cardio, and carb depletion greatly affects how fast I can recover. If I train legs and really push it like 4 weeks out it could take me 7 days or even longer for my legs to recover.

What’s diet look like? What’s your schedule? Complete drug stack?

Not training like a pussy doesn’t mean training above a recoverable volume. But whatever number of sets and reps you do shouldn’t dictate things like going to failure, set extension techniques, etc.

Diet would be 280 g P, 125 g C, 75 g F

5’6” about 178-185 lbs morning weight

Test Prop 100 mg EOD
Tren Ace 100 mg EOD
Anavar 75 mg ED
Masteron P 100 mg EOD
Arimidex 1 mg EOD

Cardio is 50 minutes incline treadmill fasted

I’ll have very high carb days every week or so.

I honestly think as I get closer to show my cardio needs to go down to slow my metabolism. This is my 3rd prep and first time I am doing everything without a coach. Still learning my body. Metabolism is very fast which has some pros and cons.

Hindsight 20/20, but I’d want to start prep with proteins and fats substantially higher so that as carbs are pulled you’ve still got cals and plenty of protein to recover with. Live and learn.

Treadmill is a pretty low impact cardio form vs stairs so nbd. How many weeks out?

On the drugs, that’s only 350mg test? I don’t knock the low dose approach but that might be light for someone searching to retain mass (also known as recovery from training and muscle sparing) on a show prep effort.

Bottom line, find the number of sets per body part by feel (being honest with yourself) and reduce volume to that. If you can’t recover you can’t grow or maintain muscle and it’ll show on stage. But don’t mistake soreness, hunger, and general suckiness for not recovering, either.

I find I can really punish a muscle with a few sets. I am able to get qued up mentally and really know how to hammer it efficiently. Thanks for the tips. I found last 3-4 weeks I do a 2 day full body split (push/pull) with 4-6 sets per muscle group is plenty

Holy shit didn’t realize you were so close to the show. Off days are a must. Listening to your body is a must. Those last couple weeks get rough. I didn’t lose any weight for 2 weeks until I took two full days off.
