Hi all,
I'm just after a few opinions from the experienced lot on here if possible.
Just to paint a small picture:
I've recently come out of an improvement phase, which lasted roughly 20 weeks. I'm now 2 weeks into my dieting phase, which I've purposely extended, making it a gradual 14 week phase (first two weeks minimal deficit, just pulling things together).
I've toyed with the idea of stepping on stage one day, and the thought has lived rent free in my head for many years. The plan is to treat this dieting phase as a "prep phase trial", leaving no stone unturned, approaching everything in the same manor as if I was going to actually step on stage . The vision following this is to bring a coach in who can take me through a final off-season (September 2024-ish), and into prep for potentially a competition early next year (April time). Being truthful I do have some major lags, which is why I feel like I need a good off-season with a coach under my belt, before even considering going on stage.
Few details about me:
Age - 27
Height - 6ft 4
End of off-season (3 weeks ago) weight: 268lbs
The reason I've made this post is to try and grab some advice in terms of PEDs. I took the enhanced route 4 years, and have tried to do things by the book (Test base only cycle for my first, using the less is more approach, and stayed clear from orals for the time being).
During my off-season I pushed up to 400mg Test E and 300mg Deca / week.
End of off-season bloodwork is due back next week.
As I'm treating this as a prep trial, the PEDs approach I feel has to be turned up slightly in comparison to my previous cycles. At the moment I have pulled back to Test base only, running 300mg/week.
I am thinking of bringing in Masteron in 2-3 weeks time, and finally when 4 weeks out, Trenbolone Acetate.
In short, do you think for a prep trial, this is a wise move? I've often read that Tren should be brought in only as your last card, so am I wasting it during a trial run? I'm also open to opinions on whether it's worth running orals during this phase?
In terms of diet, everything is, and will be dialed in, with cardio, steps, and training all on point too.
Attached are a few pictures taken on the last day of my off-season.
Grateful for any comments/opinions.
Thanks,
Joe
