First anavar cycle female

Day...I dunno. I know I'm into my 5th week and...dun dun dun

BENCH BACK UP TO 135!!

Good gawd...was jogging my husky about a year ago when I zoned out and she suddenly stopped to smell some other dog's poop, and she yanked my arm back messing up my shoulder. Bench took a nose dive and every time I took time off and got back into it, I would fail the lift. During cycle, I've been taking it slow and steady, benching only one push session and landmine pressing the other push sesh.

Woke up at 3 am, carbed up for the first time in 10 days and went for my 430 am workout and killed that bitch of a lift.

I pyramid'd up to it and it was smooth as silk. Hopefully I can get some more reps in at 135 next week.

Sitting at 1700 cals, 175g protein, 100g, 65g fat. It's a bearable deficit and I'm leaning out quite nicely. Hopefully I can keep that for the rest of my cycle, as the first 3 weeks were a bit all over the place with carb intake. It was up to 220g at one point which felt awesome, but being higher BF, I felt really pudgy right away with the var filling me out. The thing about var is that diet changes show up super quickly. 10 days at a deficit and I've made a dramatic change. I hope that motivates me to stay the course. 1700 is good without being miserable. I find myself struggling for energy and more irritable by end of day, but that's dieting, right?

Cardio still going strong at 7 days a week 30-40 min.
Awesome Bench!! IDK how you knock out that much cardio though! I was a runner for years. Gave it up about a year ago when it started messing with my lifting. I haven't looked back. :) Love your dedication!

Congrats on getting your bench back up to 135. And don't even get me started on your squats and deadlifts. You're ridiculously strong. Love it!
It's just lots of eating and lifting, time and patience. Anyone can do it. I also probably have a good 50 lbs on the BB girls here LOL.

Muscle is crazy tho. I wear a size 6 US, despite being heavier than a lot of the size 6 ladies I know.

If you squat heavy and often, it's like cardio. Once I got to 155lb squat for 12 reps, I realized how easy it was to knock out a 5k on a lunch break, with time to shower and eat. I don't even get winded running anymore.

that's awesome.
I'm more of a HIIT guy....good sprinter and can ruck my ass off. Steady state cardio and long marathon type running was never my strong suit. I have to adjust my training to prepare for some 1/2 marathons this year and coming into spring with my winter fluff has been less than fun :(

any good recommendations on women's running shoes? I picked up some of these and she seems to like them, we do more trail running so it fits the bill nicely...do you use compression socks?

Just picked up my second pair. Great for sprinting too.

Thought I would share a yummy food tip since I'm very early for my train and almost finished with my book (The Girl on the Train - very entertaining).

If you like zucchini or squashes, I shred them and add them to protein pancake recipes, my oatmeal, or egg/whites with a dash of baking powder and parsley. They add volume and moisture with a dash of sweetness to a lot of my dishes.

I stuff zucchinis with ground meat of choice and always have the insides left over, so I found adding them to both sweet and savory dishes is really tasty and filling for very little caloric value.
