Fixing HOMA IR Index - Insulin resistance

Hello guys

Recently pulled labs and 3 markers were out of range.
Cholesterol at 229
Homa IR Index at 5.9 (Hba1c is at 5.0)
GPT at 91

For the Cholesterol i am planning on getting 5mg of Ezemtibe and 2.5mg Rosuvastin daily.
Also added 600mg of Carnitin.

For the GPT: I am planning on getting TUDCA and Milk thistle, on top i am planning on adding more fiber in general.

Now for the Insulin resistance i cut down my carbs so that i only have carbs in my pre-workout meal (50g). No carbs over the day.
Also planning on going on a strict cut, throwing in Retra, cardarine, motsc and nmn plus 5amino1mq.

All meals will be basically protein and a few fats and mostly veggies.

What else can you recommend to fix the 3 issues?

Was running 250 Test and 350 Primo. Already reduced Primo down to 150 to see if that makes a bit of a difference.

Well ..... How fat are you? Sry but there is allot of information missing from your post to give any accurate advice.
I've been battling insulin resistance myself (shit family genetics) and by far the most difference has been the diet and actual fat %

My genetics are so bad for this that if I don't stay below 10% body fat my insulin sensitivity goes to shit so cardio, so no sugars or any other fast absorbing carbs

From your blood work I would say you are in a bad state of health in general...no reason to have such high liver markers on that tiny cycle.... Nevermind the cholesterol...so you are clearing eating like shit and not doing any cardio.... Start there clean up and than jump in peptides and other meds...

I was trying to understand what GPT is and dang, if it's the GGT it's very high, i've never saw mine over 33 with orals in play.

Also, HOMA IR you write a number without the ref range. Your A1c on 5 is good actually, there's nothing to fix there.

How high is your A1c? Tried any GLPs? Berberine? Metformin?

I managed to fix mine from 5,5 to 4,9 by adding berberine and cleaning my diet despite i had a relatively high bf, meaning perhaps 16-18%

GGT is at 23.

I am waiting for Retra to arrive, i will also throw in some Cardarine, Carnitine and 5amino1mq together with MOTSC. Going to remove all carbs and go for a strict cut and get another lab done in 4 weeks to see the impact of it

Yeah ok I thought that was a spelling mistake and you meant GGT. ... As that would have been relevant... GPT. .. Is ALT is has almost no meaning for someone who lifts intensely ,especially without AST and longitudinal data

So your liver is probably fine with that GGT...

But that Homa IR is indeed bad , hba1c does not mean shit in this case ...it just tells you that your pancreas is pumping out a shit ton of insulin to keep your blood sugar in check....

Going on that severe cut is the right thing to do !

Hey just a word of caution regading 5Amino1MQ. Some vendors sell iodide version, some sell the chloride version. If iodide version, you're getting about 1mg of iodide per 1mg of 5Amino. That, to me, is unacceptable.

Highly urge you to ensure you're taking the chloride version so you don't accidentally wreck yourself.

For the long-term, may want to consider a less severe cut. Crash diets nearly always result in 100% weight regain but I understand a lot of people in this space want instant gratification. Imo improving your health is a marathon not a sprint. Best wishes man.

Ohh thank you so much for letting me know! Will look into this!

Thank you. My main goal is to get 5-10KG's down and my lipids and this liver marker back in normal range, once thats done i plan on continuing a bit less drastic.

My doctor recommended me to do this to see if its not a genetic issue i.e. if it was something genetic that even that wouldnt do much of a difference.

My other family members always had a high GPT but they all also have been alcoholics, i am pretty much the only one who doesnt drink alcohol at all
