Journey to 600 Squat / 523 Bench - Long Term Powerlifting Plan - Steroidify Athlete

AHaaaahh!!! I wondered where you had got to lol I was beginning to think you had picked up an injury!
Life has thrown me a few curve balls with this move, my relationship and figuring that out (we are good), and you know life.
Unfortunately the long term plan got a bit away from me during this transition but I move Tomorrow and I we will be steady back on plan then.

Training is starting to head up going into July. Have had a lot of personal life issues with moving and all that Jazz but we ready to but some ass and chase some gains into July.
Definitely shooting for a 600 squat and 523lbs bench.

Supplements subject to change based on need but a sample run that meets my approval is posted above. I will be following something very close to this, though I may or may not start the 80mg tren a smidge earlier than normal... My blood work has been good and I am hungry for some of them gains :)

Drop your questions below, let's talk training!!!

Training is starting to heat up, today I layered in 100mg of Tren... premature? Sure, but I am getting hungry lol.

My routine is basically an upper/lower split

Tuesday (upper) bench volume focus
Wednesday (lower) squat focus
Thursday (optional) extra back volume
Saturday (upper) Bench strength focus
Sunday (lower) squat volume focus

The tren is butter, going to be hard to stay at 100mg for an extended period of time, lol the struggle :)

Well buddy I have learnt from my own mistakes why not to start too heavy when trying to progress in a training programme with 3 to 4 working sets. I tried to start off with a weight that I could do 3 reps with and figured that over the weeks I could add more sets if needed, and steadily increase the weight to where it would result in more reps per set as I got stronger - I couldn't really see how this would fail lol

It went well at first as I was able to add a few extra sets and increase the working weight in the 2nd and 3rd sets by 1kg each time. But then as time went on this became MUCH harder to the point where I was only just getting the lifts up. Now I can no longer get the final set and overall I feel as if I have got weaker!! It felt like I knocked my CNS out too.

So I will try using 80% now as the working weight, and see how things go from there :-)

Why is it buddy that the body cannot adapt to a higher load - I would of thought in time that small increments in weight would lead to increases in reps in the lighter sets, but it hasn't. Is the strain and overload on the CNS simply too much on a regular occurrence?

Also mate, why does the body find it easier to tolerate more reps at a lower weight than lower reps at a higher rate? Surely more overall volume with more reps would leave it more tired and unable to recover than lower reps and volume?

Hope the house move all went well mate and you have managed to get back into training properly again :-)

I never record my training sessions buddy unless I am going for a PR - all you would probably see is me chest fuckin the bar anyway!!! Lmao

I did back down my sets 5% of 1RM last session a few days ago and it went a lot better.

He's a lot stronger than me mate, I'm just trying to learn some programming tricks/basics off him to increase my max so I don't take so long to recover between sessions and can increase my frequency a little.
If you made a video and shared it with him he might give you some good advice.
