Way to tough it out Doc, personally i feel the workouts that i do when im not at my best because of lifes stress and drama are the ones that make me stronger both mentally and physically. Its easy to work out when we're feeling great cause lets face it we love working out. But when you dont want to workout but you push yourself through a tough one, i think that separates the men from the boys!!!
You bet brother! Now that i think of it ,me going to the gym has saved the lies of several people whom desperately deserved to have me choke them to death and saved me from spending many years behind bars lol!!!!Thanks MrB66. Today was one of those days like you describe. Just an all around bad day but I needed an outlet to let my anger out without hurting anyone and the iron is as good a tool as any
Lot of drama and BS last few days. Missed lifting Sunday and made it to the gym today by some miracle.
Freestyle workout: squats
Paused squats: x3 @ RPE 9 375lbs; 5% fatigue load drop 3x3 @ 355lbs
Front squats: x5 @ RPE 9 225lbs by 3 sets
RDLs: 3x7 @ 185lbs
So had a weekend from hell. Was severely dehydrated and malnourished from Saturday till today. Saturday AM I weighed 209lbs and this morning I was 195lbs. Not sweating the weight too much as it'll come back in a few days soon as I eat and drink right.
The 375lb paused squat for triple was a PR I guess. Never did paused squats at that weight before. Must have been pure rage that got me through the workout today as nutrition, hydration, sleep, and stress have been through the roof last few days. All in all it's a win so I'm happy.
Damn Doc. Thats a great lift, especially not feeling your best. Youre motivating me!

I actually went in monday and did just DLs. Me and a guy I work with who's trying to get in shape. Didnt go any higher than 95, just worked on form. Im starting back from the bottom, but Ill get there.
P.S. I had him shoot a short video of me so I could watch later. I have A LOT of work to do. If Im not actively thinkimg about my form the whole lift it goes to sh*t
I ordered knee wraps from inzer. They took a fucking month to get here. You're ahead of the game.I ordered these wraps 3wks ago yesterday AND THEY JUST FUKKING CAME IN. They were in stock also. I got the Inzer sales rep on the phone and asked her if a monkey ran their shipping department bc when I ordered my iphone that shit came to my door from china in 2 fucking days.

BTW, do you go to a chiropractor ? I go to one on a regular basis, have been for years and i swear he keeps my back and a very nagging neck feeling great. I now have no problems.
If you dont , it might be worth a try but you want to find one that works with athletes.
Yeah i hear you on the no insurance coverage, mine isnt covered either so i pay 100% outta pocket. Worth every penny. But im lucky my guy is this 65 year old Japanese guy that does BJ Pen and several other mma fighters and he is..... Well magical i swear, when i leave his office i feel euphoric!!! Like ive been re-charged.I did a while back after a bad car accident but nothing recent. I had planned on seeing one in August or so bc my insurance would've covered it minus a $25 copay but they recently changed our insurance at work and it's no longer covered. I'd have to pay out of pocket 100% from what I understand. What has given me temporary relief is hanging in the monolift from the hips with a band. Like a ghetto inversion table. Unfortunately I only get to do that when I make the trip to my coaches gym which is 2.5hrs away.
