@Docd187123 do you have any shooting pains?
That is the exact same place where mine hurts when my discs flare up. I'm curious as to wether or not you have shooting pain or any numbness in your legs. What about restless legs at night? Those are all the symptoms I get with my back issues
It's right above the ass crack slightly to the right of the spine. Where the back indents in the middle before coming back out. No numbness or any type of leg pain. No restless legs at night that I can tell.
Sounds like it might be a musculature injury. Idk how much a PT will help. I'm gonna shoot you a pm here shortly..
Good work Doc. Sheiko has always intrigued me but I'm not sure I could handle the volume. How is the back today?
Most ppl I know who've ran it say it's doable, just very hard, and it becomes more a mental test than a physical one. I can't lie, the volume is brutal, but if it pays off with some lovely PRs then I can't complain .
Back is hurting like a sumbitch after all the pulling. I've been icing and taking ibuprofen which seems to help some. Where the pain is I think I feel a ton of scar tissue as whenever I press on it I get that crackling sensation under my fingers. Thinking of trying to work some of it out but any sort of pressure to the area, even minimal, is excruciating.
Have any of the Doctors you've seen tried to give you prednisone for the inflammation? That was the only medication that would give me relief. I could take 3 800mg throughout the day and get no relief
Pulling under those conditions sounds less than fun. Hope you find the answer soon my friend.
No, the doctor prescribed me Naproxen and Tramadol but that's it. I've only been taking them as needed and they do help but not as much as I'd like.
You know how it is MP, the things we do for a meet. I've decided not to do the October meet. I think I'd just be rushing back too quickly so my next meet will most likely be March 2016
If mine gets really bad they give me the tramadol muscle relaxer and prednisone. May be worth asking about next time if your not getting any relief from naproxen and tramadol alone. Prednisone isn't the best thing to take and makes me feel kinda crappy but it fixes my issues by completely killing all inflammation instead of covering them up with pain meds.
