Meso Powerlifting Corner

Gots a question brothers: doing anything over 10 total reps with 225+ on bench, really leaves (what I believe to be) my tendons sore in both arms. It starts where my bicep attaches near the elbow and goes down to my hand (on my left arm) on my right, it stays near the Tricep and elbow... is this tendonitis, or my body getting used to the volume+weight combo? Would elbow wraps prevent this? I picked up my tape but am yet to try it.

I get that when I'm working too close to my max too much or just too much volume in general. That's what I believe causes it anyway.

I get that too, I've always thought it was tendinitis but I could be wrong. I threw some cheap knee sleeves on my arms and it seemed to help a bit haha. That and trying not to bench and straight bar squat without a day in between.

1-0 reps? I cant count above 8. No reason to go any higher to me ;)
 
My god I feel like I've been run over today... The shrugs and farmer carries after have really fucked me up! Only 55kg per hand... But, jesus!
 
Lol. 10+ *total*. I was doing 5x5 with 225 when I first noticed it.

Did 3x3 with 235 today and it's the same thing, so I think @Perrin Aybara may be right... it's just working too close to max, with too much volume etc.

@RandallNowan good job bro. Waiting for that 5 plate squat to come my way

Try staying in the 70-80% range for awhile.

Y'all think you're so cool because you can read and lift. I can read the numbers on the weights, and that's good enough for me.
I was a nerd first :oops: nothing wrong with being well rounded. I always wanted to be like Tarzan (book version not any of the gay ass movie versions) one minute sitting in a smoking jacket talking all fancy next minute putting a gorilla in full nelson:D
