Start using it for bench press too heard the angle helps a lot with shoulder and elbow issues as well as the extra ROM will help you rocket off your chest when you switch back to a straight barView attachment 52571
They finally got a buffalo bar at my gym. I'm pretty excited to test it out when I switch back to low bar soon.
OGH, if u click on the bench 400lbs link it does not appear in the program that there is any deload, just looks like you bench those numbers for 4 weeks then go to the next month... am i missing something? I thought there should be a deload somewhere....Right , the 400lb Bench plan is a year long program basically with deload workouts every other workout . Im doing a modified version of this now...

Copy, thats what i thought. However i feel there should be a deload in there somewhere dont u think ?Your right---Actually the 300lb program has deload days the 400lb program doesnt , you stick with one set of lifts (3-4 sets) every month before progressing each month with the 400.
And I'm assuming that, if I don't hit 305 in the 12 wks, I just start over the program and do it again. Then on to the 400.Your right---Actually the 300lb program has deload days the 400lb program doesnt , you stick with one set of lifts (3-4 sets) every month before progressing each month with the 400.

Only question I wanna figure out is how to incorporate my Slanger in this program.
OGH do you think it'd be beneficial to overload with the slingshot at the end?

Got 405 for 12 today on deadlifts. Off the juice entirely and weighing 189 morning weight. Not too bad considerin it was after 6x3 deficit deadlifts and 5x6 bench. Fresh I think I could crank 15 out cause even number 12 moved fast but being beltless and fatigued didn't want to grind the 13th rep out
