Im going to have to try this.Squat shoes give a much more stable and solid foot plate when squatting.
It might take a few reps to get in Grove but those bad boys especially give a solid foundation.Im going to have to try this.
All you need is another 15lbs on your dead to get that there and I bet you had another rep in the tank in that pic you posted in your media. So I've decided I'm going to try to push really hard for elite at 220lbs later this year. If I can squat 600lbs, bench 425lbs and deadlift 650lbs I'll be there. I feel this is very possible with my recent gym lifts.

With those numbers you should come out with some strong openers at your meet.
Would be cool to see any Meso people go to your meet. Wish I could but that's a long haul to wherever you are.
I am sure you'll do well, and hopefully no other injury ever happens as you put so much work into everything. The pic was a block pull and was definitely RPE 10 without question, but I'm just coming off that injury that kept me off deads half a year. I think I'm still good for low 600's right now. I'm going to start coming up with a plan to make this happen.
Openers would be something like 530/365/580 for those numbers.
I'm sure I won't be alone at my next meet.
Dealing with a small left PEC strain right now, but working through it ok. I did it to my right about 4-5 months ago. I'll never learn...Agreed injury sucks, and I myself had to deal with a strained left bicep that has hampered my progress while I was on cycle. Hoping it will be healed up by the summer for my next cycle.
keep hammering yourself at 70/80% and that 500# will fly up broski!! I'm somewhere in the same ballpark as you and my legs are loving those 5 X 5sHit a PR in training today. Wasn't going for a PR, it's just what the program called for... but take a 20lb PR, and for a double.
I know my form broke down on the second rep. TBH I was scared to even attempt this lift, since 435 was a grind fest last time I attempted it, and this was 455
It's good to see my training validated though. 500 should be right around the corner.
Hell yeah man. I'm doing a lot of pyramiding as well.keep hammering yourself at 70/80% and that 500# will fly up broski!! I'm somewhere in the same ballpark as you and my legs are loving those 5 X 5s
I saw this yesterday, shit was insane
