Meso Powerlifting Corner

Just set a new record on a particular fitness test that incorporates strength and your ability to push through a high intensity threshold. Think my heavy volume deadlifts and weighted HIIT session finally paid off:D.

Thats funny because the last 5 weeks I've been doing high volume DL/Rack Pull/Deficit DL and all its made me do is throw up and have debilitating back pumps (that could be from the SD)
 
Round 2 of our small gym meet for the leaderboard is coming up on the 11th. I would have preferred more time between but I think they're hoping a few more people join in this time since last time went so well and the leaderboard is up. I'm just glad my gym is starting to cater to the guys who wanna lift heavy. They gave all the top guys some nice tanks with our total.

Anyways, goal this time is to get 1500 total. Not much of a jump, I should have got it last time. Plan to second attempt 515, 385, 605. Hopefully I'm killing it and have a little extra for thirds. But as you guys know things change and anything can happen day of.

Nice numbers. You seem to train hard. You might be able to add 5 or more pounds to each lift. Being that you have had little time between meets.

I've yet to try halo. Not sure if I could get ahold of some on short notice. How much does it "help" ? I know that's a really subjective question but just trying to get an idea. I've definitely thought about trying it before.

I believe legit Halo would give you a nice strength increase. I have taken some Halo that I believe was underdosed. But I increased the dose a bit a noticed one strength increase in my lifts.

Like you said this is all subjective because we all react differently to things. I know that certain things that I take require me to take a bit more in order to feel it. This ranges from prescribed meds to alcohol when I use to drink hard liquor. To AAS now. I know my older age also plays a factor in these things as well.

Hopefully you can get your hands on some good Halo to give it a try for your meet. I would love to hear how it worked or didn't work for you.

It can vary a great deal but IME I was able to add roughly 15ish pounds to squat and deads and maybe 5-10lbs to bench. That was taking it the day of my meet just the one day. There is no other compound like it that I have tried although cheque drops, methyl tren, and no estered compounds are on my to do list.

Yea that's solid for a one time use. I'm going to start looking for some, even if it's just for future use.
 
It was bad for me, but worth it.
I have some en route right now...be the first time I've ever tried halo. Been chasing a 405 bench for the last two years and keep getting to 375-395 then having major tendinitis in my elbows and having to back off for a while. Hoping to blast past that
