No I don’t think he is, I thinks is just his macros that are way off and his ignorance in regards to bodybuilding nutrition/diet, If you read he post his macros and they’re way off in my opinion, also I couldn’t make sense of his training at first glance it seems like he’s lifting too heavy for his size, but then he mentions the big numbers being time under tension or something and I’m just lost. I think the issue is his diet, but it could very well the his training or a combination of both.. perhaps look into hiring a coach for a month or two so you get a good grasp on the basics and such.

I don’t know if this is for everyone but in my OWN EXPERIENCE, so take thay how you will... I didn’t gain weight or see results on any test products until about week 2-3, and I noticed that I needed to eat much more because I was losing fat like crazy and it seemed to make me feel like I wasn’t gaining anything at first but when I increased food intake then the results started coming in hard. Remember that you actually need to eat
More protein to get the benefit of that added synthesis during more cycles.
To be be honest, I don’t even count calories, I like to cook and prep my own food and I just go by weight and quantity.
If I was used to eating 1 pound of beef daily, I eat about 1.5 to 2 pounds now. With that I eat about 1 box of minute rice a day (8 servings ?) with some cheap but good veggies and drink apple juice and milk. Costs about 15-23 bucks a day.
Just get 2 pounds of meat from your local deli or butcher or hell 2 pounds costs about 10 bucks at the supermarket by me. Minute rice is cheap as hell. Veggies cheap. Milk always cheap. Cup or two apple juice cheap.
It’s sometimes hard to put that much food away but if you’re willing to grow you have to just do it.
I also eat tuna and some deli slices of meat sometimes. Potatoes too.

Edit- to be honest idk how you can eat 3500 calories and still not gain so perhaps revisit your diet.

I have done jiu jitsu hardcore as well and never even with lifting did I need to up my calories that much. Unless you are going to pan ams or Something and training 6 hours a day, I don’t think you’re accurate with your numbers

And update, after taking a week off i went from 153-164 so idk what that was, bodyfat hasnt changed too much

You have a high fat, high carb diet going on here. In my experience, unbalanced macros like that had me adding weight, but it was predominantly body fat.

You may be different however. Your metabolism isn't my metabolism, but if you're interested in tweaking it, try something along these lines.

Protein - 1.25 grams x bodyweight.
Fat - 0.4 grams x bodyweight.
Carbs - Fill in the remainder of calories.

For me that roughly translates to:
(i say roughly because i always go over by a little bit.)

Protein - 265
Fat - 85
Carbs - 420

Again, this works for me. i'm a tall midget at 5'5" and maintain just a cunt hair below 205 lbs with this macro split.
