Perrin Aybara's Journey to an Elite Powerlifting Total

lol, I try to get 2000 in by 8am traditionally. 3500 in a day would be awesome for a bulking diet.
3500 won't cut it for me. I need at least 3800 for minimal weight gain. I have to get close to 6000 as possible.

All this tren am on turns me into a furnace. Just burns everything away.

I'm drench just doing light stretching and warm-ups before I train.

The hardest thing for me is staying hydrated through all the eating and shakes. Being on a caloric surplus for me makes drinking enough water hard for me. Water fills me up more than food. Sucks balls.

Shit, I'm a fat fuck and 3500 pretty much maintains my weight. I got to hit about 2900-3000 to lose which sucks when your 270! Strength goes straight to the shitter! I'm thinking of giving up the dream of powerlifting and looking like @Perrin Aybara . Guess I'm going to just be an old school fat powerlifter!
How tall are you?

Lmao right?! I'm 6,3 and I'm cutting with 3500 a day. Maybe once I add in some tren and the test kicks in I'll be able to eat some more! I just don't want to eat too much and get back to 405. Nutrition is a subject I have allot to learn on

So funny that slow metabolism can be an advantage lol. This cycle is a recomp for me, this first 4-6 weeks I'm eating around 4K cals/day. Up 16 pounds since 4/7 start... but I'm sure a lot is water from the MK.

Question for all the powerlifters here about stance... deads and low bar squats, what's the width of your feet at??

A couple years ago, I changed by DL stance to about hip width apart and squats to just more than shoulder width. Tried deadlifting the other day on Perrin's program that he set up for me, and widened my DL stance and actually felt stronger. Which is odd cause I narrowed it up originally and felt stronger.

Any advice is appreciated guys

My Deadlift is slightly wider than shoulder width. Squats are wider but not obnoxiously wide. Just gotta try different positions and get a feel for your body

3800 would be a fairly aggressive cut for me.

The key for me to getting all these calories in a day is starting early. No later than 6 am.

Agreed. I start at 5:30am during the work week. On the weekends if I sleep in till 8am it makes getting in the calories a nightmare.

Why give up the dream? Just do both.

I'm not as lean as I was a few weeks ago though. All the 6k+ calorie days put a little fat on me, but also some good size and strength. I'll lean back out eventually anyway.

Took this a few days ago at the end of my blast. No pump. Sitting around 220lbs at 5'10".

I pull super narrow conventional. It feels more natural and gives me a lot more speed off the floor. Squat I go a little wider than shoulder width.

Here's where my feet are on deadlift. Don't have anything handy on squat. My heels are maybe 6" from each other.

That's almost exactly the width mine have been for my DL. I'll mess around with it tomorrow... I'm 1 day behind on that setup you gave me man, trip to Vegas put me back 1 day. And fuck man, you got a big chest and shoulders and small waist!!

That's exactly what I'm thinkin. But ya, sometimes I do worry my squat stance is too wide, like maybe my groin/hamstring area is stressing more than it should in the lift.

Thanks, I was blessed with a great hip to shoulder ratio anyway. Lifting and gear really set it off.

As far as deadlift stance it's down to personal preference and individual leverages. Narrow generally gets you more speed off the floor at the cost of a harder lockout. Just gotta figure out what works for you.
