Rodgerthat trying to pick heavy things up.

If this is what working out is - I quit.

Once upon a time I was big into body weight movements and liked handstand push-ups it was just me still seeing if I've got it more then anything.

@Perrin Aybara no I don't find planks help at all at least with body weight as my core is far beyond strong enough to hold body weight the 3 minute 1 minute thing is just so I can put a time cap on my boredom I do feel a burn with weighted crunches and decline crunches though. Maybe weighted planks would work but I didn't have anyone to put a plate on my back for me today.

Yeah, I don't even do them and I can easily hold for several minutes from the core strength I've gained from squats and deads. I might toy with some weighted ones and see what happens.

I like doing plank where you move from pushup position to elbows and switch from narrow to wide stance. I add this into a tri set of hanging leg raises and reverse crunches... It. Burns. Great finisher for a workout though...I know it sounds weird but a trainer explained to me once that when doing core and ab work you want to tighten up everything "down there" like you are holding back a badly needed piss. It strengthens many muscles around the bladder and your lower abs. Try it!

I've seen videos of similar planks with the elbow to push up position and even ones where you fall straight over and catch yourself in the plank position. Ballistic planks, they called them. I've done the weighted ones by myself a long time ago, It's possible, but difficult.

So I won't be able to do low bar for probably 10-14 days with my new ink as it is right were it rests on for low bar hopefully that doesn't become an issue in the future. Another thing my bloods came back with my doctor and everything was within ranges minus the fact I couldn't get TT or e2 tested but at least I know liver kidney is all top end thyroid is in perfect range (may use t3 so this was nice to know) cholesterol and RBC good. Sorry I don't have the actual values but doctors here don't just give you the piece of paper with numbers. Anyways it's been bothering me that I couldn't get my TT tested and I'd like to start a cycle as soon as I can so I can continue my cut with a little aid and gain some strength for the powerlifting meet, my solution is to go to a different walk in clinic tomorrow morning claim the usual symptoms of low T then let them come to the conclusion I need a hormone test :p feel kinda clever with this one. I'm gonna go in say I'm feeling lethargic all the time and no morning wood or sexual desire and lack of motivation in life and gym and hope that's enough they test me for TT and e2 and possibly any other way they could test I'm on steroids as a family member has asked and it be cool if I could have proof I'm "not" for them. Not trying to be fake natty or anything but I don't need this particular family member knowing

Your tat should be all good, I've not noticed any damage to mine from the weights. You'd need to have an area scab up and then pick it off over and over to affect it much. I had some kind of bump on my back a few years ago I did that with and ended up taking a little piece of ink out of one of mine.

Are you too far from the US to shoot across the border for some bloods when you need them?

I've done that for my mid cycle bloods but currently my passport is expired I've filled the paperwork for a new one just waiting on that but who knows how long that will take. Ya just want it to heal up purty before I start destroying it lol

You'll be all good, just try not to get wounded in the area and if you do, don't pick at it.

Looks like there's some home testing kits for testosterone and estrogen, but who knows how good they are.

Today's workout kept it light still but my joints are feeling awesome so starting Monday I'll be going heavy again

Squats ATG 135 5x10 pause reps super set with leg press 270 one leg 4x12
Military press 95 4x10 superset with bicep curl 95 4x10
Bench press 135 5x10 pause reps super set with leg extensions 4x16 single leg for 8 both sides then both legs for another 8
Sumo deadlift 225 4x10 haven't done sumo in a while but was incredible easy
Did weighted planks @Perrin Aybara got a 45lb on my back hold for 3 minutes then side planks both sides 2 mins then back to regular plank with 45lb and I really felt it could only get 2min 20 seconds so I'm gonna continue the weighted planks was great.

Went to the doctor today and complained of typical low T symptoms and it worked like a charm got a script for a hormonal panel test woot woot so I'm going to go next week sometime so it's 4 weeks post pct and if all the numbers are good probably wait another 2 weeks then start another cycle of test, tren, EQ (will be first EQ expeirence) and low dose deca for joints. Main focus of cycle will be weight loss and holding my current strength. May throw in T3 if I can get my grubby little mitts on some pharmangrade

I was going to try them last night, but I ended up feeling so bad I didn't. I'm thinking I'd like to do them closer to the one minute range with heavier weight so it's more like a really long set of squats or deadlift. My gym has one set of 55lbs bumper plates, I think I'll see what that feels like for a couple sets.

You didn't use weight on the side planks? I guess balancing it could be an issue. Maybe tie two 25's together somehow and drape them over your side, one front and one back. I think my gym might have a weighted vest, which could be another option. I'm going to try them out Saturday and get a better idea of how I'm going to do it.

I can hold a dumbbell on my hip for side planks but I didn't bother today might do it next time I crank the weighted planks out. I just purchased myself some bumper plates full set 45s 35s 25s 10s and I got some 5s and 2.5s then once my micro plates are in I'll be good. Purchased competition bumpers so they aren't as thick and I'll be able to use them for my deadlifts and won't have to purchase 5 sets of 45 irons I will only need 3 sets of irons for the time being with the bumper weights.

At this rate you'll have an amazing home gym setup in no time. You should be able to get some used 45's locally for cheaper than new ones. I've got four so far and I know someone that has two more I'm going to try to get for a few bucks.
