Sounds good. Yeah, dbol and strongman would be no good... Way too lower back intense to jive with those back pumps.
That and I was quickly reaching a point that would have made it much more difficult to make weight. Tren didn't help cardio either, but that was more of an afterthought.

If I could do it again, I'd just run the test only the whole time. Time and again it's proven to be my best strength and performance compound.

I sleep well, train agressively, maintain an appetite, and recover efficiently.

Other compounds I will use serve purpose but all will have a negative effect on at least one of those aspects. For pure performance, test simply outclasses them.

I think EQ would be a good addition, possibly. Anadrol also. Halo on the day of. But honestly, I really like the way you went about it... Worry more about technique and hard work and worry less about drugs. It's admirable, way too many guys focus all the attention on drugs.

I've been leaning towards a gram of test and add some growth hormone for my next run late January. Any thoughts?

It would be my first experience with growth, and also first with 1000mg of injectable.

The gram of test will be good.

As far as the growth, I honestly don't know that I ever saw better recovery from it in a tangible way... I do recall an ankle issue going away after a few months on it. GH has its biggest benefit with muscle preservation and fat loss, when used correctly, IME. As far as bulking with it, I never used it with a bunch of insulin and when I did bulk with it I really into problems that are kind of a long story I'm still trying to sort out... So I don't know if I can give you much solid info on that side.

So, the GH really relates to just what you want to get out of it. If you have the money, it is worth experimenting with IMO.

Log was awful - slid off my pants! I got 6 reps, previous pb was 2.
Deadlift went conservative and got 240.

Both those were shit scores!

Farmers into Yoke, farmers went really well, yoke was a bad pick, quickly dropped and then great after that. Came like 5th. Quite happy.

Forward hold, got nearly a minute. Top 5 again.

Loading medley, couldn't get the heaviest sandbag up, but hardly anyone did... Top 5 again.

Overall, excellent. Really enjoyed it. Load of experience gained. It'll go great next time.

So...
I had heard about a big comp coming up around the time I finished my last competition.

I had it on my mind towards the end of December / start of January.

But some things came up and what not, and no info was available about the competition so it kind of fell off my radar.

Fast forward to yesterday and I received some info. Comp day is <EDIT>, and I have all the details for the events and weights.

Ive been training of course but just not as event specific , so I've got a little over four weeks to prep and peak.

I'd start a log but honestly I think I'll just update here.

I'll try to get all the events and weights posted up here soon, then I'll give some details on how I'm training.
 
I'm looking at the SHW ones I'd be expected to be doing and I am quaking in my boots!

I've actually not trained since my comp in December. It took me 2 weeks to recover from it, then my wife got really ill on Christmas, then I got flu and popped a rib... I'm itching to get back in gym. Friday, hopefully.

What a waste of a fucking cycle, too, but... That's the way it goes sometimes, I suppose.
