I'm on a pretty high testosterone dose, experimenting a bit because I have done lower dose trt in the past and that was a failure, I am loading now with around 300mg per week

Test Cyp and Enanthate take about 4-5 weeks to kick in. How long have you been on that dosage?

I'm seriously thinking of going down this road myself. 300mg T for life.

I must be some kind of freak....I've backed off my arimidex which gave me undetectable E2 and now my erections are worse at 25. I also don't feel nearly as good as I did before. Mood might be better but physically and sexually I'm worse. Test has not dropped either.

I seem to do much better sexually with an ultra low E2. Not sure why.....

IIRC, you've got low SHBG - 16?

IMO, that means you dont need much tT to get your fT into the normal range but the problem is that you also dont need much tE2 to give you a fE2 that starts interfering with the benefits of the fT.

As you get your weight under control and your insulin sensitivity improves, your SHBG should rise and the problem can resolve itself.

had second thoughts, and began to theorize that I am tired of erring on the side of worrying about too low estrogen and decided to go back and take another 1/2 mg of arimidex just now, making it 1mg this late evening, I suspect that DrJim is right about this concept and that it is probably not even possible to go too low in estrogen with arimidex when on a higher dose of testosterone

I hate to tell you this now but do you realize that arimidex has a "rebound gyno" effect if you stop taking it?

You need to do labs at least once or twice a year including E2 testing since you are using arimidex. You are dosing your arimidex blind and low E2 is just as bad as high E2.

like DrJim said in another post, I don't believe it is possible to have low E2 using arimidex when on a high dose of an aromatizing steroid like testosterone. if I keep my test dose in the 300mg and up range I don't think low e2 will ever be an issue

I'll watch blood pressure closely, I've had it elevate before when on test but that was usually without an AI, and right now my blood pressure is excellent (just checked yesterday)
