The Basics of Ordering Bloodwork

the search doesn't always pull up but look through the tabs. if you look under the bodybuilder section you can get test lc ms estradiol igf and a few other things for 100 or so.

Cancel that... Private MD has no clinics up here.

LabsMD has Quest lbs up here to draw bloods. I’ll hit them up for testing

Looking at IGF-1
Looking at Free, bioavailable, and total Test

Anything else for a first baseline blood test before I start a cycle?

Cholesterol/lipids, liver enzymes, renal function, rbc, hematocrit and hemaglobin These are all the things that must be in line before you do a cycle . The other stuff doesn't matter as far as health and safety goes. They just tell you what baseline is so later you can see if you recovered well

Comprehensive wellness profile or female hormone panel I think have all that in there. Obv you know you just specify your gender, name of the test doesn't matter

Thanks for that Evom. Makes great sense and very helpful

Of course LabsMD deals with some Quest locations, but not all Quest locations ... so the local Quest locations to me won’t work. I’d have to drive an hour to another Quest location.

WTF

What about directlabs?

Great idea and thanks for that. Unfortunately it seems not all Quest facilities are used. Some, but not all Quest facilities

Sucks considering there’s a Quest facility arojnd the corner from me

Have you called that specific location? I have one near me that can't do certain tests so privatemd says they're not a location, I called ahead and told them the tests and they said they can, so I went and it worked fine
. Directlabs uses labcorp

You are awfully helpful Evom. Thanks

I emailed LabsMD and they said I was SOL. I’ll call Quest though. That’s a good idea

Ironically I emailed privatemd and they told me my local one wasn't a location and the closest was 90mins away. Super helpful

Again, thank you for the help. You’re very generous

I’ll post whatever solution I come up with.

I feel you bro. I'm an hour and 45 minutes one way to get blood work done. But at least I don't have to live in the city. I usually try to hit it up when I'm passing through
I pretty much prefer using Quest and Labs MD. Pick one and stick with it for consistent results that you can compare.

I think that’s where I’m at

If I’m doing TRT (I’m 56), is there still a reason to not have my name on all this?

I use my real name when using quest.
Some people will debate whether or not it's okay to share your illicit hormone use with your doctor. If your doctor keeps it between you and him and gives you solid advice you're golden. If your doctor gets all nervous how about a malpractice suit when you have a heart attack and puts down your confessions in your medical record your insurance company will eventually find out and possibly drop you. Personally I don't have a physician I trust that much. I do have a friend that's a physician's assistant

I figure if I’m on legit tnt then who cares?

That lab data doesn’t get back to my Doc anyways.
