It is weird. Just today my wife spoke to four women at four different places about coming to America and working for her because they were that far beyond any American that we employ. For instance girl 1 spoke 5 languages, 3 speech languages and 2 sign languages. Dumb American me thought there was just one sign language but apparently there is a Spanish sign language which is different from an English sign language.
Anyway, girl 1 was working as a server at a cafe. Super smart, super cute speaks 5 languages and... is a server. In America she would be killing the competition. She was Serious, polite, efficient, dedicatwd and follows the rules... this is typical of a German woman from what I have seen. From Cologne to Bremerhaven. They seem like formidable life partners.
The older German men are super serious and sometimes gigantic. I am 6 foot 2 and I feel small here because half the population must be as tall or taller than me. It's crazy
The German 30 and under seems emasculated in a way. Yes there are some really manly men here but a lot of them are sort of USAish if you know what I mean...

I've never been to Vietnam but it's on my bucket list. My parents have been and they said it was really nice, everyone was super nice. They also did Laos and Cambodia and said that both places were amazing as well. I can't wait to go one day. I've seen the Top Gear episode where they go through Vietnam and it's one of my favourite. That's basically a documentary on Vietnam by the way so I feel like I'm pretty informed at this point. Lol My 70 year old uncle just got engaged to a 30 Something year old from Thailand lol she seems sweet. Not joking. Lol
