I haven't read any other posts made by GearGodess, but this post reads as if it was authored by our own cbs! He even refers to himself in the third person up above!!
Is cbs displaying the narcissistic symptom of the third person reference to oneself if he is portraying a woman while doing so? Where's Doc when I need him?;)

"Screen lickers" are what you call guys convicted of downloading kiddie porn or guys trying to hook up with minors and who haven't actually gone "hands on". They get the same treatment. I'd have to file this member under the same heading.

Psychological breakdown coming soon...This is some complex shit goin on here. I will preliminarily say this.
1. There is no pregnant wife. At least not the version we're getting.
2. Agree with you Trukk. Most likely in active addiction .
3. The version of Odie that was being projected is from the past and he's using it as current.
The question I ask again or point I make which everyone seems to still be missing is this. If Odie was a member in September of 2015 and the benching contest he marketed as current was really from a year ago. Why didn't he speak of it then. Why did he wait until almost a year later and then market it as current.
Now this is why this question is so relevant. If what we know about Odie is true. That he is an attention seeker and actually creates fake personas as a way to draw even more attention to himself. Why would he not have capitalized on the benchng contest last year and bragged about his win then. He used a second phone to create a "conversation" with his "wife" to better convince us of his contest win. He wanted us to believe that this contest was recent. If it was so important for him to sell it to us why would he wait almost a year to do it. He barely hid his identity in the picture and he recently posted video's with his identity out in the open. For someone that's married and expecting and currently on cycle to get loose with his identity which could put in jeopardy his job and ability to take care of his family if he were arrested doesn't make sense. Unless the images he's using aren't him. More and more I'm believing that the contest from a year ago wasn't him at all or he would have talked about it. There is alot to breakdown here, big picture.
It may be that the Odie that joined Meso was real and at some point he fell back into addiction and so as not to admit it he started creating a false image to hide it. If that's true I feel bad.
For those of us in recovery we know that the addiction will cause us to do and behave in ways that we wouldn't otherwise. Not saying that he should not be held accountable but if my guess and what Trukk thinks is correct, that he is using. I hope he gets help.

What fucking part of "he tried to threaten and harass and coerce and blackmail and damage the credibility of other members" are you guys not following? Go back and read the discovery by @CensoredBoardsSuck and GG and others and you'll see that this Odie character - addict or not - tried to hurt other people to maintain his PATHETIC FUCKING EXISTENCE as an Internet hero here at Meso. Does it get any more fucked up than that?

But you wanna threaten to harm the reputations and potential freedom of other people to maintain your pathetic status as an Internet wannabe superhero? Fuck off!

Just because you CAN shit on people, doesn't mean you should. And he chose to shit on people and got VIP status here, while doing so.
 
Damn I'm just now seeing this. I never had anything against O, but he liked to jump on anything I said as if it was wrong. I can say I'm 100% not surprised at all, anyone that full of themselves has to be making some of it up.

I'm not being respectful or considerate. What he did was totally fucked up. People got hurt and he shouldn't be allowed to come back no matter what the reason or how big the apology. I don't know the story of who was threatened, stalked, or blackmailed. I just know that there IS a story.
When I say I hope he gets help...whether it's addiction or mental illness, I hope he gets help because if he did this kind of damage with internet aquaintances can you imagine the damage he may cause or has caused and the people he may hurt in real life. I hope this was eye opening enough for him to get help before he hurts more people.
I was just trying to figure out the motivation.

Okay, I'm going to chime in, because it's just the sort of person I am...

1) what Odie has done is bad, and deceitful, hurtful, self-serving and horrible. There are no excuses
2) if what some of you who 'know' him better than a n00b like me are saying happens to be correct, then there are some reasons - not justifications, but reasons - for his odd behaviour.
3) Internet forums are a strange place with a bit of a dichotomy - on the one hand they are a place of complete safety and anonymity (of can be, anyway) so people can be free to be completely themselves without worrying about being liked, loved, mocked or any consequences. Conversely, for the same reason, they are a place where other people (dare I say it people with big psychological issues!) can be whoever they want to be.

One never knows whether one is seeing the true, inner self, or a full on projection.

On another forum, a long time ago, I got "addicted" to the forum, and I couldn't go a single hour without looking on there. Fell in love with a girl on there and everything. Dated for a short time, too, even though she lived a long way away...

It's easy to slip into these things - hell, I feel a bit itchy when Meso goes down myself... And I've only been on here a short time.

I am not defending or deriding anyone - and the advice to be cautious online as given by many members above is golden - just giving a little insight from one who isn't too wet behind the old Internet ears.
