My friend chesty uses the term "anchor hormone" and i like that term so im going to use it :)

You need an anchor hormone. Tren is not an anchor hormone. I would suggest deca. Deca is great by me
Would taking tren (a low/medium dose at least) along side deca negate any of the bloat that I'd get from it? How much deca would you recommend taking btw?

That's not a terrible option. Something like this:

150-250 Test
400-600 Deca
200-250 Tren

Test being there for aromatisation and androgenic needs.

Deca being the 'anchor' and providing the bulk of the growth power.

Tren being there for further androgenic, anticatabolic power.

You can stay in great shape with just Test, and controlling potassium/sodium ratios as @2legit2quit has pointed out. I have done that on 1g of Test with no other hormones used. Just approx 5g potassium and 3g sodium per day.

Well, I actually plan on probably cutting on cruise doses of test, alongside maybe anavar. I don't think I'll do any full on cutting cycles.

Ive heard some good things about a cycle consisting of 2, 19 Nor's unfortunately im unable to assist. I tried it once and the results were inconclusive (DNF)

As far as deca goes the responsible thing to say is "as little as possible for maximum benefit". That will require some configuring based on YOU. I like it at about 600mg. I have tried it as low as 400mg. Im going to start experimenting further and see how much higher i can take the split between deca:test at 1000mg ratio. Maybe next ill try 800mg D to 200mg T. Hope that helps
 
Sodium is incredibly low. Don't really take in much potassium.

Keeping sodium low is a mistake. Do some research on this and you'll see that sodium is not a bad thing unless you're eating like total shit. If you're eating clean but in a surplus the some added sodium will help keep water off and help to increase your pump and lengthen the amount of time you hold a pump. Plus you stay full the entire time.

Your tren for bulking question has already been answered by @gr8whitetrukker and a few others. I only stated that high tren low test wasn't the best option if you take all the necessary components of a successful bulk into consideration. It's your body bro, do whatever you like. :)

Bottom line is you're going to hold water and add some fat in a surplus due to the amount of carbs, the AAS dosages and that's not a bad thing. Being 20+ pounds heavier and strong as hell is the best part of bulking. You just have to be honest with yourself on what is actual muscle gain and what is glycogen, water and fat so the ego doesn't take a hit when you drop it off during a cut.

Even if you ran moderate/high AAS, 6-10 ius of GH split into daily doses with a Lantus and short acting insulin daily, like most high level BBs, you'd still hold water and be full and slightly bloated during your bulk. That's the part you have to come to terms with. Most cannot be ripped up, 6 pack ab guy strutting around the gym and taking selfies while putting on a legit amount of muscle while looking like that. It's a process.
 
I barely feel the 700mg I am taking right now per week, in terms of side effects that is. Only side I get is insomnia and increased paranoia/jealousy.
Tren is sneaky like that and I have a serious love/hate relationship with it. I use it sparingly now for short periods to capitalize on it's effects then get off it.

I honestly believe if used to often for too long just doesn't have the same effects as it would if you set up it's use properly. I've made that mistake myself and ran it for quite a while and after a while you plateau with it. At least I do.
 
Scully posted a study some time ago basically disproving the anabolic ratio of tren compared to test. The conclusion was tren wasnt any more anabolic than test just that the method of function was different.

Damn right thats the best part about bulking!

Ive embraced the latter statement to the full extent. When its time for me to cut and really cut then itll be time to break some hearts. Right now and in the foreseable future ill continue to put on muscle.
 
I am having goo success with 400 mg test and 600 mg tren. I am up from 222-235 in 6 weeks. I have been eating like a madman.
 
If you keep test moderate-high, and somehow manage to outeat it (you really, really need to be on top of your diet), you can make great LBM gains with Tren.

It might not be ideal, but some people don't get along with the more conventional bulking compounds.
 
I haven't been very active, but I did want to share my progress. Especially for the guys just getting started. This is my 4th cycle and I am working with someone for my first prep. The drugs are somewhat moderate from what I expected, but I also started this prep at a much higher BF than I wanted too.

First I listened to someone on this board say stop worrying about keeping your abs when bulking, just start eating and putting on mass. WRONG! Now my belief is you can keep some abs and they will be soft but no reason to let them become covered in fat. Just my new opinion from here on out. I am going to try to keep them on my next bulk.

On my previous cycle from this one I got up to 214 at 5'6" but it was a dirty 214(as you can see) This was the heaviest I have ever been, and I was hoping I put on 10+ pounds of lean muscle... truth be told I think I put 6-7 lbs on in the last 9 months. I'm not upset, but a bit disappointed.

Either way I am stoked to compete in my first show in about 6 weeks. Most of these photos are from the 8 week out mark. I still have a decent amount of fat to peel off but it is melting off as of now, and I am not using any T3 or clen. Just a CLEAN SOLID diet, and cardio. I think we will start the clen this coming week and T3 not long after.

The cycle as been pretty close to this:
GH 3 ius am and 3 ius pm ED
500mgs Sust
100mgs Prop EOD
100 mgs Tren A EOD w/2 week break @ week 10-9
400mgs EQ
400 mgs Deca weeks 16-10
30 mgs Var ED
25 mgs Adol ED w/break at week 10
ECA stack every morning

I know my first show is going to be me dropping fat all the way up until the show, but I refuse to ever put that much fat on in a bulk again. Thanks Meso for all the motivation especially on this thread. I love seeing vets and newbies working towards their goals.

Here's my update guys.. a bit UNDER 4 weeks out.. just trying to bring my best possible package.. hopefully I can take home that first place trophy. I know I got some good angels rooting for me since this year.

Currently 17lbs over stage weight from last year!! That's an amazing feeling alone.. fingers crossed for my fellas!
