Who is our biggest, most shredded member at Meso?

He looks great. Didnt know he didnt compete? But i KNOW he did gayforpay:D
It's pretty odd when you talk to these guys about the extra cash sources. Gay for pay is talked about like it's no big deal. Most of the smart ones start their own website and hire other guys to do the actual gay stuff. I'd rather be the pimp than the Ho but it's all nauseating to me because all of us get roped into it by association.

I dont care how big his muscles are. If you sold your soul to get em then your pride and dignity mean nothing. Interestingly enough this is the same way i feel about synthol. Grow it or GTFO

That's nuts. I really did check the NPC site, $125 makes you a NPC athlete. I really thought it meant something. If I can be one, doesn't mean much.
The ONLY thing "special" about the NPC is the recognition that it's the only competitive organization to advance to the pro ranks and therefore has the best talent. You win an unsanctioned local show with a ton of great competitors no ones cares. You win a NPC qualifying show with only 2 guys in your class and most will consider that a big deal.

I personally know a guy that won the collegiate level NPC nationals overall in bodybuilding and he only beat 3 other guys total. 4 total competitors in the entire collegiate division of the nationals but on his competitive resume he looked like a super star. He's an IFBB pro now because he switched to classic physique and won his class (not the overall) and only beat 4 other guys in his assigned class (there were 5 total classes). So in total he won a national title and turned pro by only beating 7 guys and only 2 of them looked decent.

Don't get me started on synthol and all those SEOs. Complete bullshit to use that kind of stuff. There is no pride in something you didn't earn through hard work. That's a product of the way society is now. All show and no go. Fast and easy surface level looks. No pride in building your body through hard work and being smart with your diet and drug choices.

Gotta admit he's made a pretty good comeback. I respect him a lot more now that he got his shit together.

I think alot of it has to do with the fact he hangs around some guys I consider good people now.

But yea it's crazy that a little luck like that can get u a pro card , although I do think he has the build for it.

But, "hard work muscle building" with AAS, GH, Insulin and other PED's or as you stated drug choices is okay and noble?

I guess I'm not understanding that reasoning? Really would like some members to chime in here.

I'm up on the fence with this one and previously thought as you do. Knowing that a majority of the pro's and lower level bodybuilders are using it made me take a second look. I'm not saying I would use it ever competing.

By the way are you still competing?

Seems like a good platform to talk about it.

Yeah i don't think there is a single olympian on stage that doesn't use SEOs. There is a "correct" way of using SEOs and then there is the way all those fucking brazilians use SEOs. Im guessing he is referring to the guys that shove 3 bottles a day into each arm lol

I'll be back on stage in 2018 to qualify for National level shows. Currently bulking and a "semi solid" 252 at 5'8. Basically it's between breathing comfortably or eating. I choose eating at the moment. :)

On SEOs, I had a complete bicep detachment about 4 years ago at the shoulder insertion and it affected the appearance of that bicep from all angles. I considered SEO usage to try and improve the appearance of that one muscle. Not make it larger, only to correct damage I can't correct no matter how much I train it (change the look somewhat). I've decided that if that's the only reason I lost to someone or was told that was a major issue then perhaps I'd consider it personally but until that happens it's not for me.

To me the difference is all other PEDs still require hard training, diet and effort. SEO's do not require any effort at all. 2 injections a week of 3+ cc's and suddenly you've gained an inch or more in your arms or calves. You want upper pecs, just shoot some SEO in there and there it is. It's just not that same as working for it IMO.

Regarding competing and SEOs, if you get beat by a guy that's using SEOs and that made the difference in him beating you then so be it. You should have worked harder. Anyone competing knows its a free for all and there are no rules. Plus size is only part of the criteria for winning shows.

It's mostly about taking pride in working for the muscle I have. I don't see how anyone could get that from shooting SEOs but that's just my opinion.

Not knocking the guy as he looks great and he and I are good and speak whenever we run into each other. I was only using him to make a point about the NPC's perceived status verses non-sanctioned shows. Sometimes the NPC shows are just sad in the talent pool and a well run local show can be super competitive.

I get what youre saying man and it does provide a quick fix for lagging muscles but idk if id consider that cheating or easy. To me its more like i worked everything else to its max now i have to fix the areas that couldnt keep up. Personally i don't use them but i don't knock it if its used for the right reasons. Now some brazilian comes out looking like he has water balloons in his arms then id agree with you.

Nah I didn't take anything you said as negative. I agree with you.

Agreed. I tried to split my response between personal and competitive.

Personally, it's not for me since it requires no effort and is all show and no go. Many who use SEOs seem to trying to side step the work and time to make actual gains.

Competitively, anything goes and that's just how it is. There are times when you've done all you can do genetically and if you need to improve an area then maybe that's your only option. I get that and may find myself there at some point.

That's what i imagined SEO for. To fix imbalances from left to right, and create a more symmetrical look. I have a chest imbalance, it's either from my right shoulder being out of wack and being slightly forward, or I've been told that my weaker side may have just grown slightly bigger to keep up with my right side ( I dunno if that's true but it sounded good). It drives me crazy, but I doubt it's noticeable to anyone else but me or maybe anyone who bodybuilds. I notice it when I see it in other guys, it seems to be common. My biceps may be uneven or my shoulders who knows, but it's just not as noticeable as pecs cause theyre so close together and easy to compare I guess.

Either way people suggest doing more dumbbell work less barbell work. Or even that unilateral shit where people are bench pressing one dumbbell at a time. To me none of that will work. It's just an imbalance I may have to live with.

But that's where the Seo come into play, I would guess. Just fix up that left to right imbalance, give me peace of mind.

But I doubt it would, id just find something else imbalanced. Comes with being in this game. You strivee for something like perfection but does that even really exist?

I'll just live with my uneven chest. Maybe take over the nickname biggie smalls.

Im with you on that im chasing that 90s bodybuilder look any how no SEO required for that.

The placement of the word "noble" is put there intentionally to make SEOs appear in a better light. Its not about noble. Its about REAL and NOT REAL. Surgical enhancements or SEOs are not REAL muscle fibers. SEOs are not a fix for a physique cuz quite literally its not a physique. Its the same as stuffing a pair of balled up socks in your underwear to make up for a small "package". This reason alone is why competitive bodybuilding will NEVER be recognized as a legitimate sport and further alienate itself from the rest of the population. More than it ALREADY is. Its a joke. A fucking terrible joke that everyone keeps insisting is funny or fucking relevant. Its not and it never has been. Its a disgrace. Its the exact definition of a vain, clown like character of ones self disguised as muscles. Its the VERY top reason i dont identify as a "bodybuilder". It really is a disgrace and no amount of justification makes up for the shallow nature of the ones that use it.

Hope theres no confusion about my true feelings.
Take care

I'm kind of in the middle. I can agree that it seems bad because you didn't work for it, but I also know almost every non-juicer thinks what we do is cheap and/or cheating. We say differently because we know about the hard work involved. We always see pictures of guys with no muscles using it and looking like cartoon characters, but I'm sure if you asked someone who uses it and competes they would have a perfectly good explanation for why. In the end, it doesn't affect me, so if it makes someone happy, go ahead.

They think its cheating to use AAS because theyve been fed ignorant bullshit cradle to grave. Ignorance. I used to think that too. Which interestingly enough is how MOST ppl get their news and form their opinions. About everything and anything.

Bodybuilding is about building a muscular and ideal male physique, right? Where the fuck does plastic and site enhancement oil fit in to that equation?
What happens when science progresses and we can all CHOOSE our genetic makeup or even alter our genetics thru a vial before were even born? Or we can physically implant life like muscle in to our bodies to create an olympian quality physique with NO work done? Same damn thing. It becomes a joke then does it not?

Great man I'm excited to see how you do next year.

I agree if it comes to you getting 2nd or 1st because of a defect, lack of genetics in that area or surgical problem I really don't see a problem with it really.

I myself had a complete tear of my distal bicep tendon and it makes my biceps appear a little different. So, I get it.

I think we agree for the most part. But, I don't see SEO's as really cheating though. Just my opinion as well.

I think SEO's have or can have real effects on muscle and fat. Therefore, I somewhat disagree with you big guy.

True Synthol works on two different levels. The oil obviously volumizes the muscle for one. But, the second thing it does is heightens the metabolism in the muscle and makes the muscle leaner. In turn acts like a positive food partitioning product. This means making the body build muscle and lean out by using stored body fat(aka oil synthol).

I guess the even best and most genetic blessed body builders these days use SEO. Including Mr. Olympia I would suspect. It's just part of the game now. Do I want to play that game? No not really. If I would have been serious years ago... Maybe!

And there is never any confusion about your true feelings my man. ;)
