I was just pointing out the dude looked alot bigger than a medium. It shocked me. Thats when i realized it was smoke n mirrors.
Unless hes one of them fags that wears his shit waaaay too tight. It always cracks me up seeing dudes try to pull that look off

Absolutely smoke and mirrors in so many ways when it comes to contest shape. Smaller, no water in the muscles so your clothes feel like they're hanging off of you but being super lean is bad ass in it's own way when get a pump and peel down to your tank top.

Off season is a different story. Big, full and looking like you eat small children.

I will say that I get way more attention from the peanut gallery when I'm lean than when I'm in the off season. It blows my mind. I'm literally 25-30 pounds lighter but get so many more compliments and comments. Sort of pisses me off at times too for some reason. LOL.
 
Bad news guys. Just got back from the Ortho. My right elbow popped doing behind the head single dumbbell tricep extensions on Monday. Hurt like a mofo and had some nice bruising show up by Tuesday.

Partial tricep tendon rupture at the elbow insertion (interior side of the joint) is the diagnosis after viewing the X-ray. A MRI is scheduled for early next week to assess how bad it really is. If it's less than 15% then we can go a non-surgical route if it's more than 15% I'll have to have the bone fragment removed and the tendon re-attached. Looks like there will be some delay in my 2018 contest schedule. :mad:

Good luck man. I had a hip fracture earlier this year, similar issue. Ended up not needing the surgury by a slim margin. Hopefully it's a shirt term and isolated incident.

Ouch that sounds real nasty. Here's to a fast recovery. If Icky can bounce back from a bicep tear you should be able to. Hope you got a good doc that can fix this up well.

Sucks dick. Damn injuries come out of no where sometimes. I’ve had a blown pec, bicep, right knee from squats, L4-L5 from
Either squats or deads. I’m somewhat fine now minus back but injuries suck. Like a race car though it can only go so fast until the engine starts knocking FML!

Oh yes if you also count injuries that did not occur in a gym. I had a big battle coming back from a severe head and neck injury in a 3 story fall and still have some limitations. Here's hope for @fodsod to make a solid recovery.

Oh yes we still come back for more!

I had a left arm bicep detachment (at the shoulder attachment point) coupled with a full thickness rotator tear (same side) occur at the same time a little over 3 years ago. I also had this same tricep partially tear at the tendon insertion point in the belly about 2 years ago (doing the same damn exercise) so I'm no stranger to injuries and rehabbing them.

I'll just have to see what the MRI shows and go from there. Either way it's a delay in training and fucking irritating as hell.

Trying to cut fellas. I swear I can’t figure this shit out. I want to find a happy medium of shredded and big with arms and shoulders thick AF, but I can’t maintain size when cutting up. It’s a mental MF’er. Makes me want to jump back on deca and get swoll. :-)
