Who is our biggest, most shredded member at Meso?

Let’s not forget I’m still an amateur. And this concept of competing 212 means I earn that card. At that point, there’s a reason some of the sport’s icons are who they are. I’d be privileged to ever stand on an Olympia stage. It IS the goal.
No doubt you will turn pro man, that’s not a matter of if but when.

No idea. Guys are bouncing all fucking over the place. I’m probably just at the higher end of 212 height to actually be competitive. Quite a few guys taller (5-8,5-9) that compete but just can’t hold the visual size like the shorter guys.

Most likely 212. Certainly a tad bit healthier than jam packing mass on to my frame at all costs. Plus it seems 5-9/10 is the ideal height to keep proportions and hold enough mass to make noise in the Open.

Good call. I think the 212’s is the best route to start even if you were to go open later.

I see the 212 division filling 2 roles. 1 is the obvious choice for the guys that are best at 212 (shorter guys). The second being a transitional division for guys looking to compete as a pro early but aren’t quite big enough yet for the open. There are a lot of shows and the competitors at many aren’t top tier most of the time so the odds of doing well are better than the open also.

Obviously, guys over 5’9 depending on their build, are better suited to taking the time away and adding the size as they wouldn’t stand a chance in the 212’s against the shorter guys.

Granted it’s a long haul and getting your card isn’t a guarantee but the conversation isn’t out of line. Anyone competing at the National level is at least contemplating the next step and that’s all we’re doing is talking about it.

You’ve got all the tools physically, financially, mentally and the desire. So with a little luck, good timing, smart marketing and shaking the right hands you could be there in a short time.

I guess social media has bent me out of shape. I half and half buy into the positivity, speak it into existence mindset. But I also buy in to shutting up and letting the work speak. The world is filled with these “future Mr O” types now...

Yeah but almost none of them aren’t bringing it to the stage and the ones that do are almost immediately exposed as great picture editors but not much else.

I get it man. Let the physique do the talking. I’ve always been about that approach.

True.

My approach this prep has been head down. I barely post to social. Just enough to string along what little exposure i have when the time comes from the guys that do well promoting amateurs. Pretty polar opposite from last prep.

Maybe because I just don’t have time for it. Either way, appreciate your feedback as always.

Rounding the corner on the show gear kicking in (we’re 4-5 weeks in on test/eq/slin with gh being in for 6mos now, no tricks or giant stack yet), my leanness making me appear more round, and waist shrinking.

Before anyone asks the bump is from backsquats; one of my vertabrae lines up perfectly with where the bar sits nicely on my traps.
God damn man, you are a beast! Incredible work

You ever thought of selling billboard space on that back...sheesh
My dad had an enormous back. I think its just genetic
Dont think he ever was in to AAS either
He used to train in his pole barn in work boots, jeans and a dirt floor
In between his machine shop work.
Always working on metal fab or a new engine build
Hed break the concentration of work with squats, benches, militarys, and rows.
Then right back to that short block

Rear delts are popping big time bro. Looking thick.
Thanks. I think I've actually lost some meat on my back and legs with the routine I've been on this year so far, but gained in shoulders and arms. About to make a change and hopefully bring up areas I feel have lagged .

Looking huge. My families business is a machine shop (3 generations of us work there). My dad and I brought his shitty home equipment from his basement to the polebarn at work so we could do some sets on our workplace.

The insurance adjuster happened to come the next day, took one look at the shitty bench sitting between 2 lathes and said "Nope!" lol

We lived in the boonies of CNY on a 60 acre farm and another 1000 acres of surrounding state land. 45 min to civilization of any kind. He trussed some 2x4's for his squat rack lol. Always had 495 resting on it. The man never owned a gym membership and wasnt in to gym selfies haha. He just loved being gas station ready. He was a scary sumbitch. Had scars all over his face and had a presence in a room. He was a mf but he was still my dad i guess

This is me a little over 6 months off cycle. Trying to get my thickness back. Had major oral surgery which set me back quite a bit. Was very hard to eat and took a long time to heal fully. Getting back in the groove though can’t wait for this year, gonna pack some weight on!
