Crystal's 1st Cycle Log. Anavar Only.

Well, today is day 27 of my cycle.

Weighed in at 134 even.

I had an active rest day yesterday, so I did heavy squats at first and kind of did a full body workout after.

My last BB squat max was 175lbs. for 5 reps. My legs were toast afterwards and I had to drop the weight. Today, I didn't try to break my numbers as far as weight goes, but I did get in more reps at 175 than the last time I squatted. I'm stoked.:)

I realized earlier that I have been making a big mistake on my log for some time now and saying that I've been taking 15mg. of Anavar, when in fact it's only been 12.5mg per day. Oopsie. I originally worked up to 10, and decided to bump up to 12.5 after about a week. So I've been taking 12.5mg per day for close to three weeks now. Sorry for the confusion! It's not a big difference, but still.

Sides are still very mild to none. The one most noticeable to me is the increased libido. Yep, still there and going strong.:cool:

Post workout selfie and looking pretty bloated. Booo. =/ Can't wait until Shark Week is over. Sorry to gross out the boys reading this, lol.

You are sooo sweet. Thanks so much, girlie!! I feel uber disgusting right now. Muscular, but uber bloated, haha. Not really a good combo. Now where did I put my chocolate??!:cool:

I just took the last tiny 2.5mg I have of my cycle and I've been anxious to end it for this reason...I feel really thick. I loved every minute of the var, but the pump fucked with my head a lot.

It really does a great job of hardening and filling the muscles but it's hard to wrap your head around how solid we are during cycle. And the effect only compounds as the cycle goes on.

My husband reassured me and told me not to change what I'm doing. I hope he's right.

Oh Crystal, you look fantastic. I'm not just kissing ass. You're blessed with good lower body genes, I don't think that your upper body could ever outgrow lower body. Even with the bit of anavar, it's not possible to get very built up top for us. Fat distribution with women has a tendency to be stubborn in the back of the arm area and around the bra band, so with widening of the lats (which, with the pullups you're doing, I know you have good back strength and therefore width and size) will make you feel bigger up top.

And honestly, as soon as you get off cycle and go back down in calories, your added muscle will burn off fat. It's a process. I know you know this. Plus, unless you're willing to be uber low body fat, being muscular and healthy BF is always going result in these feelings from time to time about being bigger. It's just normal female feelings.

And lastly, around my period time, I always get this surge of body hate. I don't know why, but a really big indication of my hormone surge is this total disgust with my body, even if the day before I felt sexy as hell. Now that I'm mindful of it, I rationalize it's all in my head and it's my hormones fucking with my thoughts.

You look great. You're a mom of little kids for fucks sake and you have this banging body and can do 7 fucking pullups. AMAZING.

It's really nice to hear from a female perspective, especially from someone who has experienced the same feelings. I know you're not kissing ass, silly. I'd like to think that none of us do that and are truly genuine in our comments to others.:) I think fat distribution differs per woman. For example, I carry the most fat in the back of my arm area and stomach/love handles.:( But a girlfriend of mine is totally lean on her arms and core, but has such a hard time getting rid of the extra fat on booty, hips and thighs. I told her I'd take her issues any day and trade her. She said the same, haha. The grass always seems greener on the other side.

This is so me right now!:oops: You hit the nail on the head with this one. It most definitely is a hormonal thing. I will try to remember your advice and rationalize with myself that it's all in my head when all those ugly thoughts start creeping in. Thank you again. <3
 
Don't short change your cycle. Eat your food and lift your weights with passion. I've never seen somebody get too big by accident. These are the times you should be giving every ingredient your body needs to build the biggest muscles possible. Cycles don't last forever. Then you can cut off the water when it's done. Give r hell

Actually that is why I like being a competitive powerlifter. As long as I make 198 pds. and my lifts get stronger I consider it a success and don't have to concentrate on the mirror as much. With a nose like mine not concentrating on the mirror is a major plus.

198 lb? Goddam. When I competed I was in the 198 class. I was very very skinny. Deceptive how some one sooo skinny could lift so much

Yes, he's happy with my look but in my defense, him and I have different tastes as far as muscle on women. I can think a particular female has arms/shoulders that are way too muscular, but he won't think so. I think he secretly likes them pretty buff. Lol! Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's just not the look I'm going for.

Haha, you're too funny. Sometimes I wish it was easy to not concentrate on what I see in the mirror.

This is why I love lifting heavy too. When looks are your goal, you're never satisfied in a bad way. You think, well shit, should I do another set of 10 next workout? Should I up my cardio to 2x a day? Should I lower my carbs? It's a bad disatisfaction.

With performance, your disatisfaction just makes you work harder with the iron. Better with your sleep. A revisit to your form. It isn't looking in the mirror and hating yourself; it's looking in the mirror and knowing you're a badass motherfucker who can only get better.

My post was a bit anti-climactic by the time it actually posted. I typed it right after Trukker posted and before you had responded and right when I hit post the power went out in the entire house due to a storm.
