Bloated can be a good thing! I remember last time i ate my sisters lobster roll and i had an allergic reaction... my ankles made me look like a pregnant lady, but boy were my calves looking outta this world! Too bad they shrunk when sides subsided

Yes, he's happy with my look but in my defense, him and I have different tastes as far as muscle on women. I can think a particular female has arms/shoulders that are way too muscular, but he won't think so. I think he secretly likes them pretty buff. Lol! Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's just not the look I'm going for.

Haha, you're too funny. Sometimes I wish it was easy to not concentrate on what I see in the mirror.
Nothing wrong with a buff look, i almost cream every time i see my fiances nice butt and thighs, which wouldnt happen if she wasnt muscular... also, it might sound weird but i like her buff wide back. As long as my back is wider, it aint weird
 
I just don't get it. Her first post says her goal is to add lean muscle. Then she goes into full bulk mode and says she's feeling bulking up top and everyone here tells her to keep lifting heavy and to continue whats she's doing. I could of swore the definition of insanity was to keep doing the same thing over and over again an expecting different results. Crystal you look great and I get that your after a unicorn cycle here by bulking and then trying to cut in the same cycle but thats not lean gains. Peace

See, I think that's totally hot too. I don't mind having a "buff" lower body and I am trying to build a nice big back, but I just don't want to have super buff arms and shoulders. I do want them muscular, don't get me wrong, but not bulky and wide, if that makes sense.

I get you, but unless youre juicing hard as fuck, its almost physiolically impossible for a woman to devolp in such a way. Women will build a feminim physique always and men will build their way.

Pretty much 90% of the non competitors on var that I have spoken to and interacted with have had this first cycle experience. It's pretty common for ladies to be in a huge dilemma of proportions and logic I can't even begin to describe.

It's not the end of the world. She's having a great cycle and first experience. So what if it's not going as planned? She's going to cycle again with all that is learned now.

You've had one cycle right? Let me tell you how this is gonna go down here. She's bulking and thinks she can cut the bulk in a few weeks of the end of her cycle. Theres a reason we have a bulking season and a season for cutting. It takes almost 6 months to cut that bulk off. Its madness but we all put our selfs through it. Hey i never said she's not having a good cycle. She looks great and she's smashing the weight. She reached out and expressed some concerns and Im laying down experience.

Don't even trip, girl. When I first looked into it, I was like 'DID YOU LOSE FAT??? DID YOU GET STRONGER???'

And the answer was basically...meh. I cut at some points, but the increased work capacity and strength gains made me hungry so I ate...then I would eat less...and they'd come out recomped and really happy with how it went. Most people run var a couple times a year they love it so much.

Competitors are different. But for the average gal, a bit of var is going to blast you through plateaus and make your workouts awesome with added muscle and hardness. It isn't hugely effective in aesthetics like more advanced cycles.

She's not bulking enough to have a hard time. This is just var. Var isn't packing on mass. She's retaining a bit of water due to her period and the inflammatory response from intense training and pump from her muscles. She's not eating thousands of calories and on multiple compounds. Stop scaring her lol

What he is saying is what I have said. Cycling doesn't last forever. Get the most out of it. Cut later. On your off time. Both can't be done same time.

Sorry babe @Crystal234 its a game we play. We either have small consistent bulking cycles or we go full bown to then cut. Its a never ending cycle. And unless you are one of the lucky few, keeping off fat while bulking is hard. Thats why most of us, even pros, will have a hardcore full blown bull season before we cut into extremes just to look good for a small while. A never ending struggle...
 
@Trapmonster your girl recently finished her cycle, correct? Would you say she shed a bit of the fullness and water that she had on cycle?
She is slimming down, not as fast as she would like, but im seeing slight definition. Water is coming down. She did have a lack of mitivation coming off, but im pushing her. She is to resume full blown training with me this week. God i love a girl that keeps up and does all my lifts and training routine. Tough as nails i say
 
If your fortunate and an upper level responder you'd be lucky to have 5lbs of actual muscle after a full bulk and a fat cutting period. Don't get this shit twisted. Muscle is hard to earn. But 5 lbs is ginormous
