Your touch and go bench and your motionless bench (compet bench) are equal when it comes to strength?
I would say pretty close, but I also don't ever train max touch and go.

USAPL is another story, long pause compared to other feds. I noticed that people with a slower decent typically get a quicker press command over someone who dive bombs it
Hahahaha. I have always been training with an super fucking stiff Olympic barbell. Is there a real difference between both barbells? XD
Deadlift bar flex is alot more noticeable the thicker the plates are too, because they end up further out towards the end of the bar causing a greater flex. The calibrated plates of equal weight wont flex the bar as much since they are thinner and will be closer to the bars center.
how long until you do another meet?
Yes best idea to take a break for a while to give your body a chance to recharge and regroup as well as healing. Go lighter training for a while just to keep sharp then when the bug strikes you again you'll be ready for it.I don't know, part of me wants to come back soon and get this elite total. It would probably be spring or summer at the earliest. Really just need to cruise for six months and get healthy and work on weak points right now.
The next one I think I'm just gonna blast prop for like eight weeks and take some var. I don't think I really need much gear wise to get it done.
That meet sure did take a lot out of you and maybe you do need to do a sort of deload and go lighter for a bit to recover. Also mobility exercises for elbows?I went in the gym this morning to take another crack at 420-430lbs on bench, but doing low bar at the meet destroyed my elbows. Probably the worst they've been this training cycle, so it's a no go. Got warmed up to 365x1 and by this point my hands were shaking just from holding my phone up and called it a day. I'll give it another shot next spring or summer.

Sorry if I am sounding like a dick, why go low bar at the meet when you know that caused you the elbow issues in the past? Was it a requirement to go low bar squat at the meet?
Did you ever try the raptor grip? It helps me. Still can’t do low bar every week
