Scoc/Musings of a madman

That is true open policy does bring things to the light. My only problem with price list as it makes meso look like a sales market.

Brutus, as a new joining member (long-time lurker) I appreciate your position and agree.
At the same time, I see value in members like CBS (CensoredBoardsSuck) calling out some sources peddling crap. I might be wrong, but it seems evident some of the scammers get called out under one name so they simply open a new account under a different name. It's not hard to do behind a computer. Squashing those "sources" as quickly as possible allows time to be invested on those that are as close to "gtg" (almost like an oxymoron in this game) as they can be.

Anyone that has seen me post a thread or two is well aware I would like to get a scammer addy and go to their home with a pipe wrench and say hello to everyone in there.... unfortunately they are good at hiding addresses.

If anyone knows a new source has a bad reputation or if they are peddling "pharm" gear with no pics or pics of known fakes- by all means murder them and take a dump on their corpse.

Absent proof or experience it lacks credibility to attack everyone.

@brutus79 Although the SCOC is not enforceable, I don't agree its worthless. IMO, answers to the questions contained within, provide valuable information to which members can better assess their individual risk aversion.
Which is exactly why I said to use it as a template for level headed source questioning as opposed to an enforcement tool.... Which it is not my friend.

I agree entirely. Profane and derogatory language will not help us, and will only keep us from dealing effectively with sources.

A lot of guys here put time into scoc, and have sincere desire to improve mesorx.

Thanks for the feedback so far and still waiting to hear from many. The more I think about this the more I feel this lies with how we treat new members. Treat them well, point them in the right direction as far as etiquette and knowledge and we will have an army of people who know all the right questions and tests. They will all bring knowledge of other sources and boards- and this is power in the all... Not the few.

brutus...your whole first post in this thread was great. perfect. the way i would of described it...

i dont post much here at this board cause honestly i just see alot of members attacking other members...argueing...bickering....nick-picking. angry and unapproachable

Well then help navigate the change my friend. Proof is in the pudding. (Whatever the fuck that means- it makes me hungry)

i will tell you..i dont agree with this un-moderated forum...its basicly a "LET THE SOURCES RUN FREE FORUM". unmoderated or not...it is the board owners responsibility to moderate any sources here.
sure...dont mod free speech...views etc....

Sort of an oxymoron ridden statement and a slippery slope at best.

I think you are spot on when it comes to the treatment of the new members. We've all be guilty of giving the noobs shit. (Some needed it)

I would like to think that with better treatment it would stop some of the younger guys from lining the pockets of the start ups and shitty UGL's.
Your spot on as usual Brutus!

I like your ideas & agree with this style of thinking. People sticking together & guiding eachother will prove more beneficial in the long run. There's power in numbers, It's time to start using that.

It's now a sticky! Very nice! Let's put this into action when another source pops in. Reassure noobs there best defense is honesty and testing, testing, testing.

I know this will take time and patience but it can be done. Rome wasn't built overnight.
