@CensoredBoardsSuck I feel your pain here... why do people want to label it a source board? We do have sources here but that is not the intent. If a pedophile snatches a kid off a playground does that make the playground a pedophile shopping area? If someone shoots someone in the face on a street does that make it a murder only zone? Being an uncensored board doesn't warrant necessarily the right to sell. It only grants us the freedom of speech and it's ultimately up to Millard to decide how far to take that. It could only be the right to exchange information. Which I think would still make meso the superior board because it provides a feature none other do.

If its not the community, then we are essentially putting our trust in others to determine what we get to see and read. This would require dropping the administrations policy of impartiality and start taking sides when it comes to matters involving sources, and by extension they would be forcing their side onto the members.
It's really up to us to determine if we want to allow sources on here, no one else is going to do that for us. I'm surprised that the general consensus this far seems to be " its already a source board so who gives a fuck " .

I understand your point of view but that wasn't the topic I had into play. I agree with you. We as a community are the best guardians against the perpetrators. As long as the rules allow for sourcing. And as long as Millard allows us to voice our opinions.
But the rules are set by Millard whether to allow sourcing or not. And if he decides against that it's up to him to decide how to enforce such.

I think more then ever I agree we should keep all sourcing off meso. And only provide as much reviews about them as we can.
Maybe allow sources a verified account(maybe gold font ect) to have input on the topic that concerns them about they're labs if they wish to dispute claims.
Excellent post, Brutus. YOU get it. Some ARE thinking small and they're not seeing the big picture. Why is this so hard for some to figure this out? It seems some members refuse or are unable to think beyond there own little world and see that Meso is so much more than sources and gear.

I think that is exactly what he is trying to avoid though. A hands off approach to moderation is currently what we have and the community is left to decide what we want to allow or disallow. This model is the most conducive to finding the truth in pretty much any matter.
If Millard started 'enforcing' a rule he made regarding sources, he is no longer taking a hands off approach to moderation. He would be actively directing the narrative you get to see and read, just like every other board out there.
This is going backwards imo and asking administration to make these decisions and enforce them for us is almost like we completely failed to make good use of what we have been given, a completely uncensored platform. That's how I see it anyway.

I don't think it's a difficult task to enforcing a ban of sourcing on meso publicly. It could be a handful I could agree especially for one guy. Privately is a whole different animal.
The system here works I can agree with you. But it could also be better.
So if millard doesn't enforce you guys really think anyone else will be able to officially enforce what's seen and what's not ?? I mean come on be realistic with that issue. On the other note I'm also for no sources coming on here and posting lists and prices and pretty much setting an open invitation for LE to sit around and twiddle there thumbs on each others asses while they note away !! But how will we do this without having someone create moderation ! That's the only way I see it . As long as everything is uncensored there's always gonna be that dumb ass that posts something then right after says " oops I didn't know I couldn't do that ". So how will we do this is real issue here .
Astro started a source thread on UGBB too. Their underground section has essentially the same rules as Meso's. But over there Astro failed to gain any traction. Why is that?
I don't think keeping sources from setting up shop here is a matter of enforcement. Maybe this is what Millard was trying to get across in the other thread. The established outspoken members here have been too willing to buy from these sources as a means of checking their products or whatever. If we refuse to buy from sources operating here and discourage others, they won't stay.

Its still a steroid source site , #6 on Google search . Until Millard runs all the labs out of the Underground / or close the Underground it will remain a steroid source site . Still a duck.
