Talking about source reviews and sourcing.. It's the same thing in the end. Those who study and read are out here, and those who will throw their money at anyone are out here too. The distinction is so fine a line as to not be discriminable. Either you're there for harm reduction and scam elimination, or your there to advertise wares. It's the internet..whatever corporate interests you allow in ...is what you represent... Like it or not the world is controlled by those who have the money to weild influence. No different in this microcosm.

The facts are that: Meso's ug section was not created to be a source board, but due it it's uncensored nature, it has basically turned into one, and some members have a problem with that.

I feel like you guys are arguing over semantics. Whether or not you label it a "source board" in your own head doesn't change what actually happens here.

Source are welcome for healthy conversation on there product and issues. But not for posting price list and t/a times I believe is what the problem is.

Why don't we just have a different area for sources? We can keep the ug just for source talk and have another area just for sources. This seems like the only solution whether temporary or not to keep the board uncensored.

My feeling is that trying to keep sources out of the underground by reformatting/restricting/banning will likely lead to it becoming a haven for shills. Without being able to peddle their goods directly, they will recruit and send representatives to talk up their products, post test results, yadda-yadda in the guise of helpful members. It's amazing what guys will do for free gear - reminds me of the crack strawberries of the 80s. At least here you can openly question a source on anything out in the open and they either respond or display for all to see what they are about. On many other boards, you have no such fear. You can be selling shit for years with impunity. I think it takes a hearty soul to be able to source here consistently for any length of time. With the advances in testing and sharing of information, it is harder and harder to get the wool pulled over on us for any length of time. If change really needs to be made to preserve the integrity of the board, then so be it. But we need to remember that the devil you know well is often much better than the one you don't know at all.

I like the idea of no price list, T/a time and issues resolution discussions but the problem is enforcement = censorship.

Without censorship, and I am in no way advocating it, is that any rule we as members come up with will be compromised in time, peroid.

For example price list, it would only be a matter of time before some idiot or shill would post one up or discuss the cost of a certian item(s) in clear enough language that is might as well be a price list. Then what? "I am on my phone and cant delete sorry Bros"
Heck guys have posted there faces and home address on here.

Not only that, there is a certian amount of control we have when sources are in the open, albiet only on this board. We can flood their thread with warnings and let everyone know not to buy as we have done to many, many sources.

I do have sympathy for wannabe steroid users that come to meso. Not sure if you could even find a better than average SRC by searching the pages of the underground. Seems to be a common theme that all SRC's suck, all SRC boards suck, all positive reviews are from shills, and all lab reports are faked.
I know that plenty of us have good src's, and that those src's are somehow finding good raws. How many of us would even share the name of our SRC's on Meso? I bet most of us wouldn't post the name of our favorite SRC here, knowing that they would be dragged through the mud.

There seems to be no good way of even doing this. I thjnk we would be better off without a single source but how do we enforce it? Shills will come and fluff source threads. If you look in the ug there are 100s of threads dedicated to different sources members have used with both negative and positive feed back. It's up to members to take as much of that info as possible and make a decision if they want to use that source. I did it with ganabol and all and all was happier with him then I've been with any meso source.
