Gotta look into it but I’m definitely grabbing another meadows program. Either gonna be Arnold Classic, The Gauntlet looks intense as well he even says it himself, Onslaught as well I’ve heard a lot of good things about and the workouts are a bit shorter but more intense than the other 2.0 programs and then Taskmaster is pretty much same format as Onslaught except it includes an arm block at the end. So many decisions hahahahI recently picked up Sentinel. I’m down to trade whenever you are my brother!

Very true. And imagine what our physiques will be conditioned to by then as well !!Haha I know I want them all! I think it’s pretty much guaranteed at some point we will have them all. What will be more impressive is the day we can say we ran through all of them!

I’m hoping by the end of the year I’ll be ready to make something happen early next year. That’s the “plan” at least and God only knows what can happen between now and then.Fuck yeah man! I know we are both trying to compete in the near future, going through these programs will definitely help our progress to get there and beyond.

You are well on your way and I believe you will get there that soon. God may know for sure, but you have some control on what happens so keep on grinding!
Never did front squats before so it was a challenge for me. To be honest I couldn’t have went much heavier for 20 reps anyways. My legs were on FIRE.Helluva workout! Lunges after all that, bring the pain! Solid work my man.

Mentally just wasn’t all there today in the gym. Got to incline Barbell and the strength just wasn’t there today. So just opted to stay with a moderate weight and focus more on a good contraction and smooth motion. Think one I killed my self in the Drop Set the first exercise and two last week doing chest is when my elbow gave me shit so that was on my mind the whole workout as well. Been cutting down rest periods as well between sets to keep intensity up compared to the first half of this program. Still though it was good. Especially shoulders. The 6 ways give me just a nasty pump. Such a great finisher.
This was the second time in 9 weeks he used an over head press for shoulders. Once was with a smith machine and this was the first time with free weights. Think between work, a lack of sleep a bit, and just like you said my body is tired. It almost felt like when your carb depleted and go into a heavy workout and your chasing the pump that never comes. Like it sorta comes but it’s jsut not there strong type of thing is what it was like. 155 felt heavy I’m like oh my God this is pathetic haha6 way is definitely my favorite shoulder finisher, although Meadows likes big movements like overhead press and rack deads as his finishers haha so I wonder if Carnage will feature them at some point.
Still a solid workout even though you weren’t there 100%. Those days are inevitable, for me they occur often while coming down and occasionally towards the end of a blast.

Yeah my last shot of it was Wednesday. But it’s enanthate so I should still be alright for a couple weeks before it really comes down. Started to drop the test down as well a bit. Think it was just honestly being tired. Which yeah. We can’t have perfect workouts everyday as much as that would be a perfect life haha.It just happens sometimes my brother. And aren’t you coming off tren? One great thing about tren is lack of sleep doesn’t matter. You can murder a workout on 1 hour of sleep no problem. When I come off tren Ace, it takes me a week or so before I sleep somewhat normal again.
Chasing the pump that never comes ha... I’m definitely entering that phase of my cruise. I absolutely cannot wait for the nandrolone pumps in a few weeks.

Been thinking about it too also to start cutting back a bit on trying to push heavier and heavier and focus more on execution with a certain weight. Obviously still train “heavy” but like for example on a dB Press knowing I could probably take the 100s for a ride for a couple sets of 8 that are purely just pushing weight grab the 85s instead and focus more on executing a smooth movement and working on more of a strong contraction with that weight before day jumping to the 90s. Really trying to avoid injury, still grow and get strong and train to meet those goals but just be a bit smarter.
I noticed that about your log. I respect that. Plus in all honesty in doing so we’re still using enough weight to respectively add the tension and breakdown of the muscle required to promote growth. And that strong contraction is everything. That mind to muscle connection to be able to feel and work the muscles your aiming to work is paramount. We can all go in there and push and pull heavy weight. But, are we really working what we’re aiming to work?? B Pak has had a huge influence on me and now it’s just time to execute things properly and in return I believe the growth and progress will follow as well as longevity.Absolutely bro, I’m focusing on the exact same thing. Execute perfect form before increasing weight. In my journal I try to note “sloppy” when I have too much weight and my reps looks like shit and can’t get a proper squeeze. Strength increase is necessary but we are more focused on size increase and proportion, so perfect reps are the goal.
“Train smarter, not harder” they say. I agree but why not train smarter AND harder.

See that’s the funny thing about it and individuality. When I do meadows row I get a nasty pump and contraction and can just feel the tension throughout the whole motion. Now with like a lat pulldown not so much. Even single arm Barbell or dB Row I don’t feel like quite like I do with the meadows row. Plus, I think we’re so used to this “progressive overload” theory which yes is true and works very well but I myself with a new exercise start way to heavy trying to compare it to another motion or use a weight I THINK I should be using before I ever even get it down pat. Front squats for instance the other day I’ve never done before. It was a very sloppy exercise for me and I realized that and just stuck with 135 and even doing so I still feel like I wasn’t doing it right. I could have gone heavier. For sure. But, wouldn’t have made any difference and I would have needed up dropping the bar or hurting myself.Absolutely brother, very well said and you are definitely on your way. The mind muscle connection that leads to strong contractions is the most important thing. It’s almost an overstated concept until you realize how truly important it is and how much effort is required to develop that connection with new exercises. I’m still developing it on Meadows Row.
Occasionally i’ll find myself going through the motions, especially on warmup or feeder sets. Every single rep should have maximum contraction.
