What you guys putting up on flat bench these days?

I've done 440 @ ~300, but almost never go 1rm because it's crap easy to pick up pec or tricep injuries on the bench. And I mostly train on my own.

Generally I go 5x5 at 330 - unless there's hotties in the weight room :) I prefer DB presses anyway. 3x10 with 132's at the mo, which is the heaviest at my current gym.

100% natty.

335x4 paused reps last Sunday at 214lbs. Normally don’t hit flat bench too often mainly Incline and decline movements. Just what’s more comfortable. Cycle wise just cruising 250 mg cyp right now.

Back up to 155# for 10. My forearm is SLOWLY starting to loosen up a bit. It's so tight when in flexion, ridiculously tight. The power is there, just so fucking restricted.
I am currently dealing with a forearm injury as well--- I am sticking with light weights all around-- before injury-- did 315x3 --- I am 47 years old... 245 pounds... Not sure how I got old so fast!

Been stuck at 315 for a while now, but i've been sitting at 220lbs the last 8 months or so and when I bulk up this winter to 240-250 all my lifts will go up some. I'm a tall fuck so I find it really hard to push decent numbers unless I'm packing on the weight.

Long arms are a bitch especially for bench as you have to push further.

For me bro every time I hit the plateau with Bench for instance I was dead ass stuck on 305 for god I couldn’t even tell you how long. I started incorporating into my chest routine as well as one other day a week a set of 4 where I’d have my warm up and then throw on say 225 and go to failure. Rest 3 min 225 and go to failure. Hit that for 4 sets and finish my chest routine and do the same a second time during the week normally with shoilders since there’s enough stress hitting my front delts with this. But after two maybe three weeks I go back to that sticking point of 305 and boom. I dunno. Just something that worked for me. Might help you out bro.

Where are you at now?

I incurred a shoulder injury a while back (rotator cuff). I’ve been working my way back progressively without going under the knife.

Prior to the injury, I was doing 315 x 10 with a 1rpm of 365 (done after all my working sets). I think I could’ve gotten close to 400...maybe 380lbs or so.

Now...only 315 x 5-6 and about 350 max...although I had a really good day a week ago where I got 330 x 5. Lol

225lb body weight and hit 395 for a single and failed at 405. I’ll be getting in that 400 club next chest session... just gotta rework how many build up sets I do.

Hammer curls and pullups are helpful to use prior to a max for me... Helps get the lats engaged and ready to fire from the pullups and the hammer curls help with locking out.
