Crystal's 1st Cycle Log. Anavar Only.

Damn those a lot of sets! Woot woot booty and quad gain.
Congrats on the PRs babe.
I told you you're gonna be able to at least do 250 by the end of your cycle!
Thanks, beautiful! I'd be stoked if I could get to that # but I'm going to try and work with the 225 and get more reps out of it first, before I try to jump up. ;). My husband just watched my squat video from a couple weeks ago and critiqued my form. After watching it a bunch of times, I can see how my form was pretty bad. I kept tipping forward as I was squatting down. Whoops, lol.

Congrats on the PR! 225 is pretty damn impressive!! Great Progress! Like you I'm a little worried I have a "gear head" sign above my head. My gym folks are also FB friends and I always post when I have a PR and let's just say I've been having a lot of them lately LOL.. :eek:O Keep it up though! Love to watch us get strong!
Hahah, I hear ya about having many PR's lately. My guilty conscience gets the better of me every time someone makes a comment. A female friend told me today that it is incredible that I put on so much muscle in such a short amount of time. The whole time I was thinking in my head, "This mother humper knows!" Lmao

Told ya that you could get 225 and that you weren't hitting anywhere near your max. I believe I was told that women are differnt and that you were and I should STFU . Lol

Spotters that do absolutely nothing but stand there are the best ones. I only need them there if I get in trouble and would rather they not touch it or help me unless I absolutely need it.
Hah, yeah you did tell me so.

I agree with you to a certain extent. I absolutely don't want anyone touching the bar either, but I also want them to be close enough, in case they need to catch it. That guy was standing a couple feet away from me.

Im helping my wife get to the 200 lb mark (squat)
She is very much in the beginner stages
Shes has a great figure mostly due to genetics. Kinds suprised shes not stronger than she is. Last week she did 135x5 (3 sets)
Were getting there:oops:
Maybe ill show her this
That's impressive, especially for a female that just started squatting!

If the bar doesn't make notable downward motion I'm not even taking my hands out of my pockets for ya. A spotter should help rack and unrack and prevent death that's it I don't need help lifting it
Lol! I don't want anyone touching it either but shouldn't he be standing right behind me at least? I guess I'm so used to having someone squat down with me at the same time, but hands off completely.

I'm with you... if I ask someone to spot me on squats they best be ready to act when shit goes wrong. I cannot stand a half assed spotter. Going for max effort singles vs reps is different story though.

Glad someone knows what I mean, ha. It wouldn't phase me either if it was for max reps, but it was singles I was going for.

I've squatted once before without a spotter, pushed my limits with the weight and got stuck! I didn't have the safety bars on either and luckily someone was quick enough to run over to me and help me out. It was scary and really embarrassing! Just lucky I didn't injure myself.

I either do my max effort squats in the power rack or with bumper plates so either way a spotter ain't helping me I'll dump it in the power rack or I'll toss it off my back when using bumper plates (tip take a couple quick steps to get away from the bounce that happens when tossing it off your back).

The only lift I want a spotter is for bench and only to help me unrack so I don't lose tightness I hate if they have their hands near the bar cause without the fear of death sometimes you don't get the same intensity in the lift

I really need to learn now to dump the weight if I can't get the rep. I'm sure there's nothing to it and I'm probably just overthinking it since I'm the biggest clutz, lol.

Adjust the fail bars in your power rack. Have em so when your all the way down or in most peoples cases parallel your just above the fail bars. If you fail just set down. That easy

Active rest day. A little sore from yesterday's squat session but more so tired from sleeping late.

I have a couple new tiny blemishes on my face and a blemish on my upper back. =\ Other than that, all other sides are the same.

Day 64, 6/8/16

Weight: 134.4
Anavar 15mg. Albuterol 9mg.

I fell asleep early last night, so I woke up this morning feeling very well rested.

I broke my BB hip thrust PR and thrusted 320lbs. 1 x 8 w/5 sec. hold on last rep. :) It was only a 5# jump from the last time. I'm sure I could've jumped up by 10#'s but I wanted to make sure I got the full range of motion with each rep, so I stuck with just adding 5.

315 x 8
320 x 8 w/5 sec. hold on last rep. <--PR
275 2 x 8 w/5 sec. hold on last rep

45 degree hyper
30lbs. 4 x 10

RDL
60lbs. 4 x 16

Cable kickback
#2 plate 2 x 10

Cable hip abduction
#1 plate 2 x 10

Seated calf
160lbs. 4 x 18

Lying leg curl
30lbs. x 12
30lbs. x x 12

I've had a slight headache since after my workout and was super hungry by the time I got home. The few tiny blemishes on my face are starting to go away. The other sides are still the same.

Down below are a couple of PWO pics. I think I've leaned out a bit yet I also think I'm slightly bloated from the Var. It's hard to explain, ha.

I've noticed a big improvement in my hamstrings and my traps seem to be blowing up, in a good way. ;) I used to be quad dominant, but I think they have evened out since I've been paying special focus to them + my glutes this cycle. My lats have gotten wider as well but I don't have measurements of them, so it's hard to tell by how much.

*Oh, I forgot to mention that I attempted to go bra shopping the other day and noticed that my bewbs have shrank by a whole cup size. :( So yes, you will definitely lose your bewbs if you decide to use AAS, ladies. *sigh* It's a good thing I already have implants, but it just sucks because I've been a DD for over ten years, and now that I'm only at a D, they seem really small to me. My husband says he still loves them but has indeed noticed that they've shrank quite a bit.
