Thank you, @Thenewera. :) I appreciate your feedback! Leaving intermediate? I'm flattered because I don't quite see myself that way. I'm very happy with how much I've progressed but always see in the mirror what needs to be fixed. Anyway, thank you for the awesome compliment.
Positivity and drive goes a long long way, keep at it. Nothing wrong with being hard on yourself, but realize the work and progress you've achieved as well.
 
Day 63, 6/7/16

Active rest day. A little sore from yesterday's squat session but more so tired from sleeping late.

I have a couple new tiny blemishes on my face and a blemish on my upper back. =\ Other than that, all other sides are the same.

I fell asleep early last night, so I woke up this morning feeling very well rested.

I broke my BB hip thrust PR and thrusted 320lbs. 1 x 8 w/5 sec. hold on last rep. :) It was only a 5# jump from the last time. I'm sure I could've jumped up by 10#'s but I wanted to make sure I got the full range of motion with each rep, so I stuck with just adding 5.

I've had a slight headache since after my workout and was super hungry by the time I got home. The few tiny blemishes on my face are starting to go away. The other sides are still the same.

Down below are a couple of PWO pics. I think I've leaned out a bit yet I also think I'm slightly bloated from the Var. It's hard to explain, ha.

I've noticed a big improvement in my hamstrings and my traps seem to be blowing up, in a good way. ;) I used to be quad dominant, but I think they have evened out since I've been paying special focus to them + my glutes this cycle. My lats have gotten wider as well but I don't have measurements of them, so it's hard to tell by how much.

*Oh, I forgot to mention that I attempted to go bra shopping the other day and noticed that my bewbs have shrank by a whole cup size. :( So yes, you will definitely lose your bewbs if you decide to use AAS, ladies. *sigh* It's a good thing I already have implants, but it just sucks because I've been a DD for over ten years, and now that I'm only at a D, they seem really small to me. My husband says he still loves them but has indeed noticed that they've shrank quite a bit.

Got another full night of sleep and had a lot of energy for today's workout.

I'm going to drop the Albuterol and Ketotifen for now, so that I can cycle it again. I love how the Ketotifen knocks me out but I really dislike feeling groggy the next day.

Had another headache and took some Excedrin Migraine medicine. I think it could be caused from not drinking enough water because I forgot to bring my water bottle with me to the gym for two days in a row, and that really messed with the total amount of water I was consuming per day.

Sides are the same and the tiny blemishes on my face have cleared up, however I have a new one on my back. Go figure!:rolleyes:

I haven't noticed a big drop in energy ever since I stopped taking Albuterol.

I had a lot of sodium in my lunch and dinner yesterday, so I wasn't surprised to wake up three pounds heavier and looking/feeling bloated.

All my blemishes are gone from my face except that first one I got last week. It seems to be getting worse and painful as the days pass. Ouch! Other than that, no new sides.

Did squats/quads this morning and broke my squat and leg press PR. I tried using the safety bars and no spotter for my first heavy set but I had a mental block knowing no one was there to catch it for me if I failed. I asked someone in the gym to spot me on my next couple sets and did well.

I squatted 225 x 3
on my second heavy set and hit parallel on all reps. I felt like I had more in the tank, so I slapped on a tiny bit more and squatted 235 x 1 without any help. I even grunted , "Don't touch it!" Lol

Did 320 x 8 on the leg press. That's the most I've ever done.

Feeling good overall but thinking about taking an active rest day tomorrow.

I've tried two different ways the last two times I maxed out (suggestions from two other members here) and still open to playing with other numbers.

I personally do one light warm-up set and then do singles until I hit my max or set a new PR. I don't typically go in any any specific order as far as weight increases other than working the weight up within 6 sets including my warm-up. Def my preferred way to set new PR.

That sounds easy enough! I can never figure out how much I'm supposed to jump up by for each set and how many reps.
 
1rm warm up for squat for your weight (your current projected is 245 according to the 225x3 if that was indeed a 10RPE)

Don't worry your body can make that jump without issue when I go for my PRs I'm taking 50lb jumps otherwise you are taxing yourself by trying to many singles close to your max.

10RPE= 10/10 on the relative percieved exhaustion scale meaning you physically could not do another rep
9RPE means you got one more left in the tank
8RPE is 2-3 left in the tank
7RPE 4 left in the tank
6-1 irrelevant for most training programs

Good to know! I got into it with my hubby a month ago because he flipped out on me when I was jumping from 135 to 185. We got into the biggest fight at the squat rack and I ended up switching to chest day because I was so pissed. Lmao

Hahah, you're too funny. Don't worry, he doesn't read on here and I won't tell. He would probably flip if he knew I was telling all my internet steroid friends about our fight at the squat rack.:cool::D
