No gym for me as I still had family in town and we were out and very busy. I'm feeling like shit from overindulging in yummy food and not lifting in the gym.

I'm sick and tired of being criticized by my mother. All week long she has gone out of her way to make fun of me and say I either look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Incredible Hulk, or that I look like a dude or a tranny. I laughed it off at first but she really got under my skin. I don't get how some people can be so mean and rude. Especially "loved ones". Sorry for the rant.:(:rolleyes::mad:



Day 76, 6/20/16
Weight: 139
Anavar: 15mg.

Everybody is finally gone and I'm back to my regular routine of lifting and eating. It feels so good.

I have put on a few pounds over the week and look bloated. It's to be expected though and I'm sure I'll be able to drop most of the excess bloat by the end of this week.

As of yesterday, I'm officially on my final week of my cycle. I'm looking forward to giving my body a much needed break from AAS.

I hit it hard in the gym this morning and broke my squat PR again. :) I can hardly believe the amount of weight that I'm able to squat now. I guess taking the week off and loading up on food wasn't such a bad idea. ;) I'm very satisfied with the progress I've made on my first cycle.

I think it's a generational thing... I think it's also due to the fact that most people don't regularly see body's like many members at meso have. When you live and breathe this kind of lifestyle you start to get pretty accustomed to seeing big built lean bodies. To someone that doesnt see it much, or at all, it can be shocking. The more she's around you or others like you, the less shocking it'll be to her. My dad has always had a somewhat similar view on my lifestyle actually, except he views it as unhealthy and that I'm liable to hurt myself.

In the meantime, keep at it ;)

Thanks, lady! I'm really glad I took an unexpected deload. I'm going to make the most of it for the rest of this week. Only six more day and my cycle is over!

My mother is in her late 60's, but I totally get what you're saying. Yes, it was nice having them over when she wasn't being rude but I'm so glad they're gone now!

Also, thanks for putting things in perspective as far as the negative comments my mother was making. I get what you're saying, but I also don't get why she can't just bite her tongue if she doesn't have anything positive to say. It is what it is, I guess.

I still haven't decided if I'm going to do another Anavar cycle or try running Primo next, but I will make sure to do another log if it's the latter. :)

Yeah, I was trying to bring up glute strength for better deadlift lockout. Unfortunately they aggravated my right hip so badly I had to drop them after about five weeks. I'm really not bothered by doing "women's exercises" in the gym. If it allows me to squat, bench and deadlift more I'm game.

I've read some of Bret Contreras' articles. I've actually got my fiancee doing something similar to one on his website right now with great results. I don't know about his whole being able to hip thrust more than you deadlift idea though.

I still haven't decided if I'm going to do another anavar cycle or try running Primo, but I will make sure to do another log if it's the latter.

I don't typically hear about females doing oral kick starts but maybe that's something to consider. Run anavar until the primo kicks in... I am not suggesting you do so, but something to research if you're interested in the idea. Might be a little aggressive/advanced for a female user though, I'm not sure.

I think it was you I saw mention the program of his. I'd browsed his work years ago, but I don't think he'd put that program out yet.

I had to modify a few things for her, she has a torn meniscus and certain leg movements aren't possible. Like slightly above parallel box squats instead of regular full squats.

Yes, I talked about Bret in the intro of my log. I purchased his book a few years ago and followed the beginner program in it. I made good progress, even being a natty lifter and don't hesitate to drop his name to other female lifters looking to change up their lower body programs.

Yikes. I'm sure she's still making great progress even though she's doing a modified version.

Bret is coming this way next month. I thought about making the trip to hear/see him but decided it was fangirl and creepy. Lol. Actually it seemed like a good conference but I can't afford it right now.
