Starting Hypertrophy block 2 off with a bang, am still gunning for 315x20 and 365x10... but, it won't happen in a week.

Current dosage is 150mg/test
10mg dbol

Baby dosages, build that base off these baby dosages and then climb into my competition. Man with a plan.

Currently both my Test and Dbol are from Steroidify, obviously am a sponsored athlete with them...They have never let me down,

Test is from the Ultima lab...Smooth as butter baby.

I like starting out low too. I like to start out low then increase my test dose alittle going into the next training block

Do you train with your Girlfriend / Wife bud? Does it work well?

Train with my girlfriend, works very well. She is more than capable to criticize and provide queues. She also is turning into a damn good lifter. Just need her to eat more!
She looks in great shape to me - ya don't want her turning into a monster! lol

I've been noticing in John Haacks videos of late he does a lot of close grip incline press now - 2 sets of 8 after bench and seems to do pretty well from it. Unfortunately I just have a fixed flat comp. bench at home so may have to invest in an incline version too if it works that well.

The incline is a great tricep builder :) Hence the close grip.
Easy hack, just add some plates or sturdy wood under your bench and boom its inclined.

295x15 -> next week 305lbs and peak week 315.
So what’s going on here? Note the eccentric is fast and the concentric is violent. I perform these explosively as possible while maintaining a pause.

The pause was historically a necessity and evolved out of training around injury. For a period the stretch reflex (touch and go benches) were resulting in a pec strain. Then the gains came, tested on others…. And before long this became a staple. Pauses motha fuckaaa….

Swipe for some nerd shit and info on how training like this can be beneficial, but be careful fast eccentrics is a skill to be practiced. Don’t be reckless.

I think I may try doing some paused bench work, it's something I never do. I did use to do deadpress which I found very beneficial for power off the chest but it began to aggravate my shoulder after a while and I think I did them too heavy. Ultima Test is what I also use - do you use their Dbol too?

So I did some pause bench last night for the first time properly - my shoulders were still sore from deadlifting especially RC's so lightened up and got to grips with those. I have to say they were really enjoyable actually and also very deceptive. First couple of reps I figured I would easily get 6 to 8 reps but damn once it has rested on your chest for several seconds once you begin to power up you realise just how much effort these things take despite the bar being much lighter!! I just did 4 sets of 3 reps so it will be interesting to see if they help at all. I would almost say you get more satisfaction from them than touch and go because you have hold of the bar for longer and the chest stretch at the bottom is incredible.

Don't expect a miracle after just 3-4 workouts. Physiological adaptions and strength training takes a long period of time.
Few tips:
Leave yourself runway for growth, don't start at your limit.
Enjoy the process
Pauses are very easy to standardize your reps, less jerking/momentum/and body english and thus the strength adaptions are more likely to lead to physiological adaptions--as opposed to just getting better at bouncing. It is actually your muscles that need to initiate movement.

Enjoy your journey!

Why are you adding dbol to your cruise?

During my "peak" weeks in training blocks I benefit from the extra retention I get from Dbol, it helps fill me out and increases my strength via leverage manipulation. I can accomplish this with 10mg pretty easily.

This would be done typically for 2-3 weeks at the end of an 8 week volume accumulation.

I can also do something similar with Anavar, but less retention. But, can use it strategically during training blocks

Some coaching today, she drives me nuts trying to coach her. But today's session
215 4x2 and 1x5
Then 155 vs bands for 3x3-5 reps (avg was 4)

If she decides to listen from here I would do
230 for either 3-5 sets of 1 (OR 230 for 2x2) then 2-3 sets of 3-5 reps at around 165
Then the week after max.

But, she spends more time in her head then trusting any form of process :)

Aside from that bro science reasoning- you run orals to end every training block lol? That is horrible advice to those following this looking to get into powerlifting. Why not save them for a meet?

Not at all sure what you mean by Bro Science reasoning.
What do you think dbol does?
how do you decide what tools (drugs) to use in your programs?
I am not here giving advice that people need to take "X" drug at "y" time interval. I am explaining how I am utilizing certain tools and compounds over a long term and very planned out training program.

I never said I run orals to end "every training block," I indicated that it is something I did last prep and this prep which gives me added momentum into my wave loaded progressions. Works quite well! Also, at the dosages I utilize there is very minimal negative health consequence, for me. I cannot speak for how 10mg of Dbol or 10/20mg of on anavar impacts you! But, judging from common dosage advice I see on forums maybe you mistook for 100mg of dbol or 100mg of anavar :) what do I know!

When I do deploy these extra orals its checking a specific box as part of a thought out training program. For example, here is how I deployed Anavar strategically in previous competition program leading into my 518 bench.

Could I have done it without the anavar? perhaps. But, I executed my plan and it was overall quiet effective, I also had a nice training and visual effect from the anavar in those periods.

Remember, drugs are tools. Nothing about my process is reckless or very "bro science," its not, for example, bro science that dbol is going to increase retention, thereby increase bodyweight, and thereby potentially augment performance. Not sure how you define bro science...

Anyway, hope you can contribute more productive conversation to my thread.

Have a good evening friend!
