Rob's log part 2 (gonna take a crack at PLing)

Of course and I totally understand it. One very common mistake ppl make is to stick to training programs they don't like bc they believe them to be superior. The fact of the matter is, if you truly like your programming and believe in it, you will subconsciously give it more effort and get more out of it. Russian style programming certainly isn't for everyone. It can be boring bc of the repetitiveness and lack of great lift selection but it works very well for what it's made for and that's getting the lifter stronger.

Oh and I'll be digging into some goodies for that day for an extra boost so to say.
 
Halo, TNE, and cheque drops and you'll blow your mind out with how much you can lift....if you survive it all lol.

What are these goodies? Any hints?
I need to pick up so nose torque too. What's the best place to get that. I have no clue.

You can just buy it online. It's used in first aid kits....well the ammonia inhalants are. Nose tork can also be found online. I prefer the inhalants as the tork can lose potency before the bottle is done. I've only bough the inhalants at PL meets but I've seen a ton of different sites sell them.
 
Cheque drops are the unicorns blood if that unicorn was on 6000mg of halo daily. Never even heard rumours of legit stuff though

Oh it's out there. A nationally ranked buddy, knocking on internationally ranked PLing status, has ran them several times. The dude is psycho though and routinely cuts over 40lbs to make 24hr weigh ins then books himself up to an IV to rehydrate.

For full disclosure, I've used the ammonia inhalants while driving home from my meet to keep my ass awake (was passing out hard after a long day) and have bets with friends from another board who say "hey let's all do a cap at the same time and randomly text each other" lol

Well if he wants he can send me his extras :p. I'm over here stressing about 6 pounds for weigh ins and he's cutting 40 lol. I keep nose tork in the bottle when it loses its potency (about a month after mixing) in my car for that reason long drives when tired. I huff too much though I'm building a tolerance.

For deadlifts really focus on sitting back on your heels and pulling the weight into you. since ive started to mimic Koklyaevs deadlift set up, similar to this video, it has helped me alot. As i was very similar to you in that i was locking my knees out too early and not staying upright enough.

For deadlifts really focus on sitting back on your heels and pulling the weight into you. since ive started to mimic Koklyaevs deadlift set up, similar to this video, it has helped me alot. As i was very similar to you in that i was locking my knees out too early and not staying upright enough.

That dude is a damn monster the whole room shakes lmao. That last video I had a shit night. I've considered doing a few DLs tomorrow on my off day to practice form. I felt nauseous as fuck on Monday. I've narrowed it down to a few factors but it's all guesses. That video is definitely helpful. Thanks man.
 
Tonight went good. Felt good and strong. Had a night weight of 200.3 with shorts and shirt. I weight 198.3 when I woke up. Gonna do just a real small WO tomorrow with cardio. Nothing on Friday. First day of block 32 on Saturday and nothing on Sunday to prep for Monday's 105% of max day for each lift. I want to make sure I'm well rested and fed for that. Anyways here is what tonight looked like. Pretty easy night.

Smith military press
1 plate per side 4 sets of 15

Side raises
35s 4 sets of 15

Tri extensions cables
80lbs 4 sets of 15

Plate loaded preacher
90lbs 4 sets of 15

30mins on the bike and done

Weight 202.5 night weight. 198 even this AM. No real body aches. Left shoulder gets a tad tight with certain movements but nothing concerning. Looking forward to plowing some food and taking it easy the next couple days. Saturday's WO looks like a breeze so nothing concerning there.
