Who is our biggest, most shredded member at Meso?

Carbs and fats so it's basically like eating avacado and oatmeal right?
I got into it with a guy here a few months ago about this haha.

Micronutrients make a huge difference.

Not gonna lie tho, I could eat six peices of that shit in a day no problem... And a gallon of whole milk....

IIFYM gets knocked for that quite a bit however, the real iteration of IIFYM calls for an 80/20 split on whole foods vs foods you like that are otherwise considered cheats.

It all works to some degree with moderation. Unfortunately, the concept pf moderation escapes most people especially when it comes to junk food.

When I did it with TEK and Trukker, I ate (I think) 14k calories... It was horrific.

It's like crack for me... I'm good unless I take a hit (bite) of something like an oreo, poptart or cereal... Then, I might as well just eat the whole box... I'm totally good if I don't have 1 bite, though... It's weird.

Same here also. I figure if I only eat a little then I'll just want more again later so I just literally make myself sick eating crap all at one time then move on. It doesn't happen often but when it does it isn't pretty for a few days afterward.
 
I don’t even begin to compare, but I’ve also only been back in the gym since April, caught pneumonia in October that kept me out of the gym for almost entire month and am starting to clean up my diet and get the ever-elusive 6-pack (addiction to Soda/Dr Pepper is my main issue), this all coming after a microdiscectomy and 2 spinal fusions on my back since August 2015.

Going to Cancun with my girl, so I’ve got 5 weeks to try to get into the best shape I can.

10k Cals, that's only like 1 xl pizza and a whole cheesecake from the factory .

Now if we are doing this with red meat and rice, things are gonna get a little more tricky. Pretty sure I could do it tho.

Pizza is a bad choice due to digestion for an eating comp. Youll be full for 5 hrs at a clip and all backed up.
I focused on salty and fatty processed meats of all sorts of varieties. In n out. Next!
Harder then u think man. Especially when you count it cal fer cal and its legit

I do agree to a certain extent however, IIFYM is really more reality based. Very few, VERY FEW, are going to be able to sustain 100% clean eating all of the time. If you allow 10-20% of your macros to include fun stuff it is much more sustainable. However, you have to achieve balance just like with an extremely clean diet... It doesn't necessarily make it easy.

I'm better with small cheats throughout the week rather than a cheat meal once or twice a week. If I do a cheat meal, I'm fucked the rest of the day... If I do a small thing like a candy bar or something, I'm fine.

My point was mainly that IIFYM doesn't mean you can eat chocolate only to hit all your carbs and fat... It's a common misconception.

I agree... It was not as easy as I thought it would be. It was fun until 8k, then regret set in.

Were saying the same thing, essentially, but I have some gripes.

“Real” IIFYM is just fucking...eating. It’s what everyone who’s serious about the gym does. 80%+ prepped food + cheats here and there. Some douche put a name to it that it didn’t need and then, as people do, they ruined it completely.

Just reread it. Just like i said 13k cals. No one topped it:D
Only thing i remember being disputable was the tacos i ate at fuzzy's. They counted those cally style shrimp and bacon tacos as like 900 cals fer 2. It was right in there nutritional info...i shrugged and counted it like it said even tho i didnt believe it. But other than that that 13k was all documented and legit. Oh! And i had to guess the weight of my meat from the golden corral. Which will effect the cal intake. Sue me:p pretty accurate tho i think
