Daily Log to 2019 Show Season

Are you fine even without insulin? Don't have problems with blood sugar or anything else?

We always hear that it is necessary to use GH+ insulin, but you don't do it and you still have better results than those who say so
Off-season I do use insulin after my gH dose before food. I still believe it is a good idea if taking larger GH doses close to food. In prep insulin usually comes out and my coach did remove it.

Attended a local show this weekend and trained at a different gym for a nice change of pace. Posed under different lighting and still very happy with where we are. Could likely be ready in <4 weeks. We have 12 and may jump into an earlier show.

Photo is after back/hams.

Timeline looking good mate, getting ready some time earlier is a great idea. Going into a show holding a ton of fatigue definitely shows on the stage, and being able to hit a maintenance transition phase into the show is a great advantage.

More changes.

Moving to twice weekly photos. 25mcg t3 (12.5 AM/PM), 60mcg clen, NPP is out mast is up to 300.

Last meal of yogurt and cereal was removed along with granola bars I had pre and post.

Pushing harder now.
Things must be getting nasty now...the results should be phenomenal!

Strong believer in NPP? I can’t use that stuff, but I guess at your level there isn’t much choice.

@Mac11wildcat hey mate when you used lantus in the past did you lower your dietary fat intake (added) in the off season?

Seems theres mixed opinions
I did not. But I also don’t “add” fats. All my fats come from the meats I eat and traces elsewhere. Don’t eat like a moron and you probably won’t have an issue.

Can't get over those biceps bro. Reminds me of Arnold's at his peak. My slowest growing muscle is definitely my bicep. Idk what the trick is but mine are just "ehh"

Anyway, looking great brother. You're probably the biggest guy on the forum

I rarely add this kind of stuff anymore unless breads are in for carbs. Everyone I’ve ever coached looks and performs better when fats are driven by more red meat and fatty fish intake.
Do you think part of this could just come from naturally eating more carbs due to varying levels of fats from the same cuts of meat or from the higher protein amount due to getting all necessary fat from protein? Thoughts seem to vary from clients of some of the higher protein coaches like matt, bleu, and chad

I think when you’re eating 3lbs of animal flesh a day…the fats are gonna sneak in there.

I think it’s because hypertrophy and health are a lot more than macros. I still stand buy whole, unprocessed, single ingredient foods being superior for all facets of health.

Well right, but don’t understand what that means when you take nuts or olive oil into consideration? I’ve never heard an argument that fats such as almonds and avocado aren’t healthy and unprocessed, unless I’m misunderstanding you. Like I mentioned, the guys like Bleu, chad, or even milos are proponents of high protein and not added fats not because there’s anything wrong with added healthy fats but because you’re getting enough fat with the higher protein and they believe much higher protein plus higher expenditure is superior for growth signaling. Just trying to understand your approach as it sounds like it may be from a different perspective?
