Daily Log to 2019 Show Season

Water around a gallon today.

Roughly 75g of carbs (300g rice) today with added fats removed from the meals where those carbs are. Protein portions constant.

2x full doses of Xpel
I did a dry out once, or prep week. I didnt do it for a show but a body transformation contest final day pics. I got to say brother its rough and takes some commitment. Props to you brother and you are looking awesome.

Thanks. This is moderate so far.

Nationals would be probably 3-4 days of EXCESSIVE water intake (2.5-4 gallons), followed by a taper down to nothing but a few ounces with carb meals the day before and of.

Accompany all this with strategically timed dyazide use (most people use too much too often and go flat; you need water to use carbs to make glycogen).

Carbs will be light today, and I would imagine will ramp a tad tomorrow prior to weigh ins. After weigh ins it will get much heavier and most likely include insulin.
 
Finally made it through this thread. Very interesting read on the day and life of someone in your position. Thanks for all the time and effort you have put in here at Meso. What can I say... great job man!

Weighed in at 198.0 clothed

Meals today:
615pm - Immediately after weighins - 6oz bison, 300g white potato, 20oz water, 6iu slin

Water from here on out is legit sips, not ounces, when needed (up to now I’ve drank <12oz since 6pm)

8pm - 6oz chicken, 200g white potato, 4iu slin

10 pm - 6oz chicken, 200g white rice, 4iu slin

Scale weight is currently 198.0 :p funny how that works

Midnight - double cheeseburger and cajun fries from Five Guys, 6iu slin

Immediately before bed - 4oz red wine

Have taken a total of 1.5x daily dose of a Xpel, one more dose to come.

Photos have been sent between every meal, posing with my coach for 10m every time, which dictates how the next meal looks.

Will be up at 5am for pics to compare to the last set tonight and get started on the plan for the day peaking for the stage.
 
Man I know that five guys is about to go down any minute now! You know that’s gonna be killer! I’m always scared to eat anything like that the night before a show.

Good luck in the morning! The last show I competed in, I looked like shit, but was in the final for the overall. When we all were turned facing the rear for back shots, the guy that won it told everyone “it’s over boys”.... no one heard it but us on stage. The light heavy guy went ballistic, lol.

We keep getting tighter and tighter. The sodium and fat should do some beautiful things come 5am. I’m expecting to wake up lighter too. We’ll see.

My coach has this on lock; I ask no questions. Do what I’m told at this point.

And yes, I’m going to CRUSH this.
 
Show day:
Meal 1 - 4xpel, 4 units of slin, 5oz ground bison, 200g white potatoes, 4oz black coffee, no added water

5am weight - 197.0, a bit softer but that’s expected, urine is much clearer than last night so we’ve got more drying to do.
