My posts couldn't be harmful to meso. As much time as you spend here I spend equal. Love this place. Some things I dont love. Opening up Pandora box im simply reporting what I know. I haven't dont any thing to harm this community.

What is harmful are private src on the double. Member and source? That is an oxymoron. Self interest will take precident over judgement. This is harmful. To be clear I use a couple private sources. But the difference is I dont have a team to root for. I report on my experiences, post bloods and critique where need be.

Truth is I guess it doesnt really matter? Were all after a src. We all want good gear. We all want to do it safely. The end issue is these members who face no scrutiny for their bias. Alot of members may not be privy to who is who and why their opinion is biased. Which is dangerous. Sorry if I offended you. I do think we are all after the same goal?

But you're not reporting what you know, you're making blanket, tongue in cheek statements.. You said people would be surprised how many members are on the take and I know that's bullshit unless I've had my head completely in the sand which I doubt.

The way you worded it implied everyone who chases off sources, or at least a significant portion, do so with an ulterior motive. Highly offensive not only to those of us who do this for the greater good but also to the board. Making a sweeping statements t causes far more harm than good. Got someone to call out? Do it motherfucker. Pussyfooting around simply throws confusion in the air and removes focus from actual problems.

Things can certainly come off that way when whiskey is involved. But ur right...a sweeping statement would be incorrect. As is with any thing in life.

No brutus...I know what your thinking. Ain't calling you out motherfucker. I actually like you and johnny. Two good meso bros here.

The issue is who's behind these private src and the members agenda when they post. I now have a clearer head but unsure where to take this.

When I joined meso and saw the hostility towards sources I assumed guys were protecting a source they were in with.
After being here for a while I no longer think it's the case. I think that was just how people rolled here on meso. You shit talk a src and you get lots of Atta boys and likes.

I think the generalizations thrown around here are making this issue sound more wide spread than it is.

I remember a couple of months ago (I don't remember the thread) Johnny and i commenting on how secret sourcing was going on. I also remember people then acting surprised. I also remember Johnny and i then being shocked that people would be surprised, as it seemed like the guys doing it were very deliberate and open about it through their posts.

But I also remember JB and i stating that although it was going on, we believed that it was obvious who was doing it. It was pretty much the same names then as it is now. And the list was short.

If it is being done by more than a handful of members, I don't see it, and am unaware of it. Admittedly, I am not a guy who would probably get targeted by the PM solicitors. But it does seem like those PM's get reported quickly.

I think it is pretty obvious who is secret sourcing, and again, the list could be counted on one hand by a dude who's missing his thumb.

Come to think of it, calling it "secret" sourcing is not accurate, as it has never been much of a secret, as far as I can see.

If it's not intended to be a secret, why the insistence on protecting the "secret"?

You are right in that anyone motivated to uncover the secret can do so by browsing public postings.

It's a badly kept secret and, as you suggest, appears to be deliberately (some may even say strategically) leaked.

If the secret/private sourcing isn't really secret/private, it should not minimize concerns. It should heighten concerns because it seems like a great way to have the best of both worlds - the advertising and promotion of a public source + the lesser scrutiny afforded a private source.

Here's some police work. There is a thread called evolutionary. org sponsers meso-rx. Could some of the senior members (brutus comes to mind) please check it out and explain what the fuck this means. The dude is saying he's happy to be part of the team. Doesn't smell right to me.

Team of sponsors? If there is anything that can be done to make this more obvious and transparent, post it here.

Evo is a shithole board that shoves bullshit sarms and worthless fucking pct and immediately bans anyone who comments on the theivery going on. I would wipe my ass with the thread, but since they are a sponsor keeping the lights on I will wait until he mentions that fucking n2bm bullshit and then I will take a dummp on his face. I figure @Millard Baker would want us to be nice until there is a reason not to be.

OK. I get it. Sorry if my post seemed naive. I haven't been around long enough to know who everyone is yet. Thanks.

As you know, MESO's commitment to member freedom of expression comes first and foremost. MESO appreciates the contributions of its sponsors who help make this site possible. But sponsorship does not come with any special protections when it comes to participation in the forum that would compromise or otherwise restrict member speech.

Believe me, it's a hard sell to potential sponsors who find it incomprehensible that MESO would refuse to censor negative feedback against sponsors. MESO has lost several potential sponsors as a result. The forum is not sponsor-driven but member-driven. I wouldn't recommend it as a way to maximally monetize a forum.

But I would recommend it as a way to create the best fucking AAS-related member-driven forum on the Internet!

Among many things you are a very cunning linguist my friend. Second to none- except possibly myself, but regardless of the popular opinion I will always be a legend in my own mind.

Meso is like a breath of fresh air compared to those boards as the community is more close knit and trolls and shills get put on blast.

A sponser considering themselves part of the team is like Budweiser saying they're part of the steelers because they have a commercial spot during during the game. Yes, they're funding the team but they're not part of it. And by saying that, do they feel we have to accept them as such. We're the team. This is our game. I don't like Budweiser.
    The horses are cool though.
