Daily Log to 2019 Show Season

Gotta say the hiatus felt good. What’s up boys?

@Hawkins No, my doc isn’t returning my cals for an appointment so I’m ordering it myself.

For those curious, my stack for recovery after the show (I don’t think I posted it?): TUDCA, NAC, Liver and Organ defender by 5%, Astragalus, vit D, Berberine. Off everything but cruise test.

All the “feels” are back to normal so
I’m hoping bloodwork is too; sex drive, energy, digestion, BP, hr, etc.

As of Monday I had been off:
-all injectables for ~10 weeks, and long esters for ~16 (minus cruise level test)
-orals for 8
-gH for 8

I did however make a decision to kick off my offseason based on timing and goals for next year. Goes against my own advice, I know. If bloodwork comes back poor I’ll make any adjustments necessary. Don’t expect this to applauded nor should it be.

For right now (the same base as last offseason):
-750 test
-500 deca

Food is around 4K cals (375/400/100).

Training 5 days a week and legs are back in (if you remember I didn’t train legs all offseason for my upper to catch up).

Goal is a net 15lbs change of lean mass and fat loss. The primary reason for hoping on before results are back is to finish “growing” this calendar year and set myself up for a leaner start to prep so I can make it shorter and more bearable for my wife and son.

Feel like a bitch right now.

Dealing with a REAL bad pin in my quad. Happens to me like once a cycle. Definitely not an infection. Been through it before. But FUCK is it painful. I’ve gotten through 2 days of 75m worth of cardio and two great workouts despite it. But it always gets worse before it breaks and it feels like tomorrow is gonna suck.
 
Good to see you still alive Big Mac. Bet you are ready to get training again.

Bad pin? Ouch had my share of them like pinning my quad in the wrong spot and got that electric shock feeling.

What TT do you aim for with your cruise?

Prior to this cycle, I was crusing on 200 mg test E weekly. Before I started this blast bloodwork came back greater than 1500 on TT. (I didnt order the uncapped, didnt think I needed it) I'm aiming for right around 900 to 1000 after this blast is over and will b cruising for at least 6 months.

Not trying to hijack thread just wondered what your take on what is optimal for cruising dosage.

What’s optimal is different for everyone. But overall i think it’s best to maximize the space between cruise and blast. The bigger the delta between T on cruise and blast the better your blast should be. Remaining in or just above the physiological range should be the goal IMO.

Update on my current state:
-750 test c
-500 deca
-350 DHB

~5300 cals (~460/570/130)

222lbs at the end of training

Dropped gH for a bit to recover some insulin sensitivity. BP ~125/80, HR low 70s.

About 5-6 weeks into a 20 week offseason, and from there will assess show options.

As far as life; it’s been busy and a bitch. Staying consistent has become harder with a 2yr old and all that comes with it. This week we are mourning the loss of my wife’s grandfather after a short, intense battle with cancer. My mother’s is in remission, as is her grandmothers. But it all just stacks up. for anyone dealing with the same, keep your head up and be a rock for your family.

Have to grow and then assess. I need a quality 230 on the scale first. I was under 198 a day before weigh ins. Need to be 203+ and shrink down for weigh ins and blow up for the stage.
Damn...that's a lot of weight to gain but hopefully that's doable for you.

How are you liking the DHB? What are you seeing from it Mac?
 
Sorry for the loss to you and your family. Sounds like you are doing a good job taking care of everyone, most importantly, and still managing to get one foot in front of the other which is as good as it gets at times.

Keep up the good work and post up when you can.
 
Still around. Life is just hacking away at my sanity right now though. The short story is this offseason called off due to some minor health things I want under control. Life is also not cooperating so stopping, recovering and resetting made sense.
Oh shit, a bad time of year to get things going wrong. I do realize you had a really busy year especially with those 2 shows back to back which I am sure took a toll on your body. Rest and time with the family is good this time of year :)

Bet you'll be rarin' to go at it again soon.
